Ideal for decorative applications in the commercial sector, hotels, restaurants and shops, Concord Colossal stands out for its circular shape, which gives it a modern appearance. Its minimalist style is reinforced by the uniform, seamless design of the aluminium ring. Made in France in Saint-Etienne, the Colossal range comes in four diameters (400, 600, 900, 1200 mm), of which the largest models, thanks to the luminaire's soft shape, bring a real aesthetic statement to the rooms in which they are installed.
Thanks to its various installation options (surface-mounted, suspended, wall-mounted for the 400 and 600 mm versions), Concord Colossal gives architects and project managers the possibility to play with the product in terms of both its dimensions and its installation. By placing them at different heights in a suspended installation to create a cloud of luminaires, or by positioning them more or less randomly on a wall, specifiers can structure spaces in an elegant and aesthetic way. They thus give them a more human dimension, without ever compromising the quality of the light.
Beyond its elegant design, Concord Colossal offers two types of light distribution: direct and direct/indirect (indirect halo). The latter, again, has a real aesthetic appeal in a surface-mounted installation, on a wall or ceiling, giving the luminaire an additional dimension thanks to this halo of light projected to the rear. Like all the lighting solutions developed by Concord by Sylvania, Colossal guarantees excellent visual comfort in its prismatic version by reducing glare (UGR<19). With an SDCM<3 across the entire range, it ensures premium light quality and delivers uniform lighting with an efficacy of up to 145 lm/W.
Available in more than 200 references (3000K/4000K, CRI>80/IRC>90, prismatic/opal...) to meet all needs whatever the decorative application, Concord Colossal is offered in a DALI version and, on request, with the SylSmart Standalone and SylSmart Connected Building wireless lighting management solutions.
