Viessmann: three new products from single-family homes to commercial buildings

True to its credo of constant innovation, Viessmann is launching three new products on the French market. These new models are suited to single-family homes as well as multi-family buildings, commercial buildings and public authorities.

Vitocal 262-A heat pump water heater
This new Viessmann solution, manufactured in Faulquemont (57), uses the free energy of the air, indoor or outdoor (from -10° C to + 42° C), to produce domestic hot water, with or without a complementary heating generator, for example an air/water heat pump or an oil, gas or biomass boiler. It is available in three variants: the hybrid version (type T2H, with heat exchanger), to replace an existing DHW tank; the electric version (type T2E), preferred to replace an electric water heater or to complement a heat pump dedicated to heating; and the wall-mounted variant (type T2W), combined with a DHW cylinder, a combination cylinder or a primary cylinder. With its integrated 300 l tank, this heat pump water heater can be installed in place of a traditional DHW cylinder. Its operation is optimized in a laundry room or a technical room, places where a large amount of heat is produced and available.

The Vitocal 262-A also offers a coefficient of performance of up to 4 on ambient air (up to 3,39 on outdoor air), ensuring low operating costs together with a high level of DHW comfort. It also operates quietly thanks to low noise emissions (from 53 dB to 47 dB depending on the model). With an energy class of A+ or A++, the Vitocal 262-A protects the environment thanks to its natural refrigerant R290 (Climate Protect+++), which delivers a flow temperature of 65° C down to -10°C, thereby considerably reducing the use of the electric heating system.

Optimized for self-consumption of the electricity produced by a photovoltaic system, it is eligible for financial incentives. The condition of the protective anode is simply monitored by the Viessmann controller, and commissioning by the installer is guided by ViGuide, which also allows remote monitoring. Finally, it is very simple to control, via the ViCare app. Indicative retail price from 3800 euros excl. VAT, excluding accessories, installation and commissioning.

Vitotrol 100-EH remote control
The Vitotrol 100-EH allows the heat pump to be controlled from any living space. Easy to install, as it requires no cables thanks to its (encrypted) radio technology, the Vitotrol 100-EH remote control, powered by batteries (type AA, 2 x 1,5 V), offers a modern, timeless design. It has a backlit screen displaying the room temperature, the outdoor temperature, the time and the operating status of the heat pump. It also controls the heating/cooling circuit according to the outdoor temperature, as well as DHW preparation, since several Vitotrol 100-EH units can be connected (one per circuit). CEE-compatible, it makes it possible to create a time schedule for heating and DHW, as well as automatic software updates via the internet. It can manage a comfort mode, a holiday program, a holiday-at-home program or an absence mode. Finally, eligible for financial incentives, the Vitotrol is sold at an indicative retail price of 249 euros excl. VAT.

Vitocrossal 300 CI3 condensing boiler
This new compact and economical gas condensing boiler is designed for heating and DHW production in multi-family buildings, commercial buildings and public authorities. The Vitocrossal 300 CI3 is very easy to install, thanks in particular to its width of 75 cm, its integrated wheels and its transport pallet with integrated ramp.

With its small footprint (0,75 to 1,07 m2), the Vitocrossal 300 CI3 boiler is also well suited to renovation in buildings with cramped boiler rooms. Delivered pre-assembled and factory-tested, the Vitocrossal CI3 is available in eight outputs (80, 115, 160, 240, 320, 480, 560 and 640 kW) and also offers cascade operation, with up to 8 boilers, able to deliver an output of up to 5.120 kW. Fitted with the cylindrical MatriX burner, which ensures combustion with low pollutant emissions, the Vitocrossal CI3 has a wide modulation range of up to more than 1:10 depending on the model, for prolonged and durable operation. In addition, the O2 sensor with self-calibration automatically adjusts combustion to different types of gas (natural gas, propane, mixtures containing up to 20 % hydrogen).

Equipped with the new Inox-Crossal heat exchanger, made of high-quality stainless steel, synonymous with high operational reliability and a long service life, the Vitocrossal CI3 achieves a standard efficiency of up to 97,7 % on GCV. Finally, the Vitocrossal CI3 is integrated into the Viessmann One Base platform, which ensures simple and intuitive commissioning via ViGuide mobile and also allows remote monitoring by a professional (via smartphone or tablet), as well as parameter optimization, and maintenance requirements are flagged in good time.
