Urbatek continues to extend its range of metal inspired porcelain coverings with Rust, a new XLight collection, recently presented to professional visitors at Cersaie 2014 where numerous architecture and interior design professionals showed their interest in this high performance ceramic material.
With a stucco appearance reminiscent of corrosion produced by rusting in certain metallic surfaces, the Rust series recaptures this industrial aesthetic, started by the Concrete and Nox collections, also by XLight.
This is an excellent option for coverings in interiors and exteriors in which a modern, sophisticated atmosphere is sought, also offering unbeatable technical qualities which characterise the high performance ceramic from PORCELANOSA Group.
Beige and Dark are the two colours that Urbatek has chosen for the release of this new series of extrafine, large format ceramic, all in the Nature finish. Furthermore, this series is available in two formats, with pieces of 100x300cm and 50x100cm.
With a thickness of only 3.5mm, this new series of large format porcelain tile is ideal for covering walls and exterior facades, both in new construction projects and restorations. Its minimal thickness allows pieces of XLight to be installed directly on the previous ceramic covering without needing to remove it. In this way, the time needed for installation, as well as bothersome waste is reduced.
Additionally, despite its large dimensions, this is a light material which is easy to handle and cut, also allowing cuts in unconventional shapes, so that architecture and interior design professionals can let their creativity run wild in their projects.
