TWIN'AIR DF 70 and TWIN'AIR DF 70 PLUS, two new single-unit heat recovery ventilation systems

AUTOGYRE, a specialist in air treatment and ventilation for 65 years, is launching two new single-unit dual-flow ventilation (MVHR) systems with integrated bypass: TWIN'AIR DF 70 and TWIN'AIR DF 70PLUS with humidity detection. Designed and manufactured in France, these all-in-one systems improve indoor air quality and thermal comfort, while retaining heat in winter and coolness in summer. With an efficiency of 70%, they limit energy losses and can deliver up to 14% savings on heating bills.
Dual-flow ventilation is a motorised extraction and supply system with heat exchange between stale air and fresh air. It expels polluted air to the outside and filters incoming air. The incoming air does not mix with the stale air but recovers energy as it passes through the heat exchanger, where the two airflows cross. Now tempered, this purified air is distributed to the main rooms through the supply vents via the compact distribution box.
The self-adjusting AUTOGYRE TWIN'AIR DF 70 and TWIN'AIR DF 70PLUS ventilation units are designed for new or renovated homes with 2 to 7 main rooms, equipped with a kitchen and up to 4 bathrooms/toilets. Being single-unit and compact, they take up little space. They are also quieter (< 35 dB(A)) because they eliminate air inlets on the facade and prevent draughts.
The heat exchanger recovers up to 70% of the heat contained in the extracted air and delivers a 14 % saving on the annual heating bill.
The TWIN'AIR DF 70/TWIN and DF 70PLUS are fitted with a bypass. When activated, this device diverts the fresh air so that it is blown directly into the home. Heat exchange is thus reduced and the incoming air continues to be filtered, so it can cool the indoor air in summer when the outdoor temperature is lower than that inside the home.
The bypass can also recover outdoor heat in mid-season by blowing warm air indoors after it has been filtered. It contributes to comfort by reducing the temperature range between indoors and outdoors.
- The TWIN'AIR DF 70 ventilation unit is equipped with a manual bypass (controlled by a control switch).
- The TWIN'AIR DF 70PLUS ventilation unit has an automatic bypass with a control switch and a humidity detection function with a 75 % RH (relative humidity) hygrostat that automatically triggers high speed.
Equipped with G4 filtration for the stale air, TWIN'AIR ventilation units protect the exchanger from dust and fouling, which ensures the performance and longevity of the installation. The enhanced M5 class filtration of incoming air removes mould, allergens, medium-sized particles and bacteria.
In addition, an indicator light on the wireless filter management unit alerts the user when the extraction and supply filters need to be replaced.
DUAL-FLOW VENTILATION: How it works
Dual-flow ventilation is a motorised extraction and supply system with heat exchange between stale air and fresh air. It expels polluted air to the outside and filters incoming air. The incoming air does not mix with the stale air but recovers energy as it passes through the heat exchanger, where the two airflows cross. Now tempered, this purified air is distributed to the main rooms through the supply vents via the compact distribution box.

Energy savings with these dual-flow ventilation systems
The heat exchanger recovers up to 70% of the heat contained in the extracted air and delivers a 14 % saving on the annual heating bill.
Optimised thermal comfort thanks to the bypass
The TWIN'AIR DF 70/TWIN and DF 70PLUS are fitted with a bypass. When activated, this device diverts the fresh air so that it is blown directly into the home. Heat exchange is thus reduced and the incoming air continues to be filtered, so it can cool the indoor air in summer when the outdoor temperature is lower than that inside the home.
The bypass can also recover outdoor heat in mid-season by blowing warm air indoors after it has been filtered. It contributes to comfort by reducing the temperature range between indoors and outdoors.

Easier maintenance and filter management
Equipped with G4 filtration for the stale air, TWIN'AIR ventilation units protect the exchanger from dust and fouling, which ensures the performance and longevity of the installation. The enhanced M5 class filtration of incoming air removes mould, allergens, medium-sized particles and bacteria.
In addition, an indicator light on the wireless filter management unit alerts the user when the extraction and supply filters need to be replaced.
