Sun protection: Warema unveils its new blinds and sun shading systems

Warema, Europe's leading manufacturer of technical sun protection products, will unveil its new products and range updates at the Batimat trade show from 6 to 10 November 2017 in Paris (hall 4, stand F30).
The German manufacturer highlights its innovative strength in the sun protection sector and makes this event a platform for discovering its innovative solutions, thus providing architects, specifiers and project owners with answers to their needs.
A blind that emphasizes the building's architecture and withstands bad weather
The new 80 AF (06) Premium slat blind, extremely wind-resistant up to 30 metres per second, can remain extended in strong winds. In addition to providing glare protection and privacy, this new external blind combines high-end design with flexible integration options.
The one-millimetre thickness of its extruded material gives it a particularly robust appearance.
Installation is similar to that of standard adjustable external venetian blinds.
The design, with its support rail and solid fixing, adapts to all types of buildings. This blind is available in maximum height and width dimensions of 3,5 metres.
ProVisio, the new multifunctional adjustable sun shading system
The ProVisio external sun shading system can do more than a standard external blind. It not only ensures protection against heat, glare and prying eyes, but also combines these benefits with optimal visibility.
Comfort thus improves immediately in four ways: a pleasant indoor climate, agreeable brightness, preserved privacy and a good view of the outside.
Thanks to the differentiated tilt of its slats, the ProVisio adjustable sun shading system preserves around eighty percent of the view to the outside and is suitable for private use as well as for offices or medical practices.
Blinds in Sea-Tex, a fabric made from recycled ocean plastic
At the Batimat show, Warema will exhibit a remarkable innovation: blinds in Sea-Tex, a fabric created by recycling plastic items from the ocean.
Sea-Tex, which meets the requirements for tear resistance, also holds the Oeko-Tex certification (spelled Üko-Tex in the source, Oeko-Tex in France), a label intended to guarantee the absence of toxic substances.
Another feature is that the fabric is flame-retardant (fire resistance class B1), antistatic and suitable for humid environments. Warema thus offers a wide range of roller blinds with or without cassette, Japanese panel blinds and vertical blinds in a durable material. The colour range includes five subtle shades (white, grey, black, natural, sand).
