SLIMISOL® by Siniat: a slim, high-performance internal insulation system

SLIMISOL®, an innovative system unique on the market
As part of the fight against global warming, many actions have been launched to step up the energy renovation of housing. In renovation, major constraints have been identified when insulating homes: long, messy works and a significant reduction in living space. In 2017, Siniat responded to a call for projects from ADEME and proposed developing a clean, dry, space-saving solution. This is how SLIMISOL® was born, a complete internal thermal insulation system with many advantages over conventional insulation materials (glass wool, polystyrene, etc.).

An innovative technology
The SLIMISOL® panel works like a thermos flask: its microporous insulation, made from diatomite powder vacuum-sealed in an aluminium/polyethylene envelope, keeps the cold out of the room while preventing heat loss to the outside. The SLIMISOL® system delivers better thermal conductivity results than all other conventional insulation materials, meaning a smaller thickness than standard insulation for better insulation performance.

Economical thermal comfort
By limiting heat loss, the SLIMISOL® system improves living comfort while also delivering heating savings. With a thermal resistance of 6,61 m2.K/W, every degree gained thanks to SLIMISOL® reduces the heating bill by 7%.

An ultra-thin system
The SLIMISOL® system optimises living space with partitions 3 times thinner (compared with traditional insulation solutions). Indeed, with a SLIMISOL® insulation thickness of 4 cm and a total system thickness of 6,5 cm, Siniat offers the thinnest internal insulation solution on the market (vs 22 cm for traditional insulation). For a home with 100m2 to insulate, this represents a space gain of approximately 3,5m2.

Installation in a single day
SLIMISOL® panels are available in 3 sizes (60x60cm, 60x40cm and 60x20cm), covering almost all wall surfaces. With the complete SLIMISOL® system, the job takes only one day and is completely clean. All that remains is to paint. The SLIMISOL® system thus allows renovation work to be carried out room by room without taking the premises out of use.

The only system compliant with fire regulations
The SLIMISOL® system is the only vacuum insulation to be compliant with article AM8 (fire regulations in ERPs, buildings open to the public). It is therefore suitable for renovating homes, but also offices, shops, hospitals and other premises.
