Silence, Izy Silence, Silencio... Autogyre's ultra-quiet ventilation
In every home, permanent ventilation is essential to ensure good indoor air quality and optimal comfort for occupants. Fumes, combustion gases, odors, household products, mold, bacteria... pollute the air every day, damage the building and harm the health of occupants. To purify the air in damp or polluted rooms, such as the kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, toilets..., controlled mechanical ventilation (CMV) is essential. It continuously renews the indoor air by bringing in fresh air and extracting stale air, and it limits condensation that can damage the building. However, while CMV is essential to the good health of occupants, it can sometimes be a real source of discomfort through noise nuisance if the home is poorly soundproofed and the CMV unit is poorly located.

Autogyre, a specialist in ventilation and air treatment for more than 70 years, offers in its wide range of extractor fans and single-flow CMV units solutions that are among the quietest on the market and that address the challenges of both new and renovated homes.

SILENCE Series extractor fan: Discretion and low consumption

The Autogyre Silence extractor fan provides spot extraction of stale air and creates a negative pressure that encourages dry, healthy air to enter the home. Energy-efficient, it is characterized by its low power consumption (8 W for Silence 100 and 13,5 W for SILENCE 125). It is fitted with a helical turbine equipped with silent-profile blades. As a result, the unit is quieter than a standard extractor fan, with a low noise level (from 26 to 35 dB(A) depending on the model).

Powerful, the SILENCE extractor fan provides continuous ventilation with flow rates from 102 to 175 m3/h (depending on the model) in the kitchen or bathrooms, guaranteeing optimal indoor air quality while consuming very little energy. Easy to install on a wall or ceiling, it requires no major work and is ideal for renovation. It allows direct discharge or discharge through a short duct of up to 3 m. Discreet, its white ABS front panel is extra flat. Removable, it makes maintenance of the unit easier.

Single-flow CMV: How does it work?

Single-flow CMV continuously renews the air in the home. Outdoor air is drawn in through air inlets located in the living areas (dining room, living room, bedrooms,...) toward the damp rooms where the extraction vents are placed. These are connected by ducts to a unit that continuously expels the stale air outside the home. Humid air does not stagnate and pollutants are removed.

Single-flow CMV - IZY SILENCE: Renewing the air in silence

With its compact and ergonomic design, the Autogyre Izy Silence self-regulating single-flow CMV unit is very quiet. Thanks to insulating foam fixed inside the unit, sound insulation is reinforced. The Izy Silence thus delivers excellent acoustic performance, with a sound pressure level at the kitchen vent of only 18 dB(A). NF Electricity certified, which guarantees electrical safety and manufacturing quality, the Izy Silence is fitted with a low-consumption motor. Low on energy use, it consumes on average 15 W-Th-C (T2 up to T7). The Izy Silence has 2 speeds and is ideal for renovation in a home with 2 to 7 main rooms, with 1 kitchen and up to 4 bathrooms.

Single-flow CMV - SILENCIO: With humidity detection

The Autogyre Silencio unit is designed to be integrated into a centralized self-regulating single-flow CMV installation. It is particularly recommended for uninsulated attics. Very sturdy, made of galvanized steel, it has reinforced interior insulation (expanded polystyrene and melamine foam). As a result, the Silencio delivers fine acoustic performance, with a sound pressure level at the kitchen vent below 14,4 dB(A) at low speed.

Another advantage: it effectively prevents moisture and maintains healthy air in all rooms of the home. To manage humidity, the Silencio is fitted with 2 2HR Control humidity sensors (1 on the kitchen outlet and 1 on the main bathroom outlet) that detect humidity and automatically trigger high speed (HS). As soon as the humidity level exceeds 75 % in the kitchen or bathroom, the CMV switches to high speed (HS), and as soon as the humidity has been extracted, it returns to low speed (LS). High speed can also be activated manually via a switch installed in the kitchen. After 30 minutes, the CMV returns to low speed. NF Electricity certified, the Silencio unit has low energy use, consuming on average from 13,8W-Th-C (T1 to T4) to 20,8W-Th-C (T5 and above). Ideal for both new builds and renovations in a home with 2 to 7 main rooms, with 1 kitchen and up to 4 bathrooms, it is easy to install thanks to its removable outlets.

Single-flow CMV Compactéo SILENCE: Space-saving and perfect for renovation

Compact and discreet, the Autogyre Compactéo Silence self-regulating single-flow CMV unit meets space constraints perfectly thanks to its low height of 15 cm. Ideal for renovation work, in a home with 2 to 7 main rooms with 1 kitchen and up to 3 bathrooms, it can easily be installed in a false ceiling, in a cupboard, under the eaves... and used in any position.

The Compactéo Silence offers great acoustic comfort. Its galvanized steel casing with reinforced interior melamine foam insulation and a ball-bearing-mounted motor give it a sound pressure at the kitchen vent below 16 dB(A) at low speed. In addition, it is fitted with 4 anti-vibration pads for silent fixing. Its kitchen outlet with Venturi system ensures better airflow and also helps reduce noise. NF Electricity certified, it is energy-efficient with low power consumption from 7,5 W at low speed. Its high-efficiency reaction turbine guarantees low fouling.

Finally, to extract detected humidity, it has 2 2HR Control humidity sensors (1 on the kitchen outlet and 1 on the main bathroom outlet) that automatically trigger high speed (HS) as soon as the humidity level exceeds 75 %. Once the humidity has been extracted, it returns to low speed (LS). High speed can be activated manually via a switch installed in the kitchen. After 30 minutes, the CMV returns to low speed.
