SFA's Sanifos: a comprehensive and adaptable range of lifting stations

With its new 2022 solutions, dedicated to lifting so-called clean water after individual treatment, and its grey water pump with vertical float, the Sanifos range of lifting stations is expanding even further. This development confirms SFA's leading position in this market, with products that, as always, are synonymous with easy installation, high performance and longevity. Sanifos 2022 thus positions itself as a complete range of underground solutions addressing every issue (clear water, grey water, wastewater, rainwater, etc.) and every site configuration (individual, collective, new build, renovation, etc.). A range of solutions that professionals (architects, local authorities, single-family home builders, installers and road and utility professionals, etc.) will certainly appreciate.

Sanifos: a complete range of 173 lifting station solutions

Thanks to its complete range of Sanifos underground lifting stations, SFA enables installers to meet every site configuration they face, without multiplying the number of references distributors have to manage. This is made possible by SFA's optimized and intelligent tank design, combined with the technologies used in its lifting pumps. Indeed, SFA's Sanifos range includes 173 solutions (7 tank sizes, 5 pump types in single-phase or three-phase, float or pneumatic detection, etc.) to address the various water lifting challenges, whether rainwater, grey water, wastewater and, from now on, even so-called clean water after treatment by an individual treatment system.

Yet this range consists of only seven tank sizes (110, 280, 610, 1300, 1600, 2100 and 3100) offering volumes from 110 L to 3 100 L. This is because one of the strengths of the Sanifos range is the adaptability of its tanks to the constraints of each installation. Thanks to an adjustable riser, an adjustable inlet invert with a drilling range, frost-free zone compatibility and three types of lids covering three classes of standard NF EN 124 (pedestrian areas, parking areas, road traffic), each Sanifos tank can cover a wide range of issues.

The other strength of this range comes from SFA's in-house expertise in lifting pump technologies. This unique French know-how allows it, with seven types of single-phase or three-phase pumps - handling flow rates from 8 m3/h up to 48 m3/h, for lifting heights from 7 m to 39 m, combined with a vortex system or grinding blades - to make the Sanifos range the offer that meets every need. Finally, two types of control units are available, connected to a pneumatic system or to a float.

The new Sanifos 280 and Sanifos 1300 solutions dedicated to lifting clean water after treatment, as well as the new version of Sanifos 110 for grey water, equipped with a vertical float pump, perfectly illustrate SFA's creativity in addressing every situation.

The new Sanifos solutions for lifting clean water after treatment

When an individual building has no sewer connection and is therefore equipped with an individual treatment plant, infiltrating the so-called clean water into the ground at the outlet of the treatment plant is not always feasible or desired. The clean water must then be drained to an outlet. From now on, the Sanifos 280 and Sanifos 1300 underground stations address this issue with two major advantages, one related to the tank design, the other to the choice of pumps perfectly suited to these particular situations.

As for the tanks, the Sanifos 280 and the Sanifos 1300 alone offer an inlet invert (FEA) range of 180 mm to 2 000 mm. This performance is made possible by combining the Sanifos tank riser system with the drilling range, which ensures millimetre-precise adjustment of the installation's FEA. Thus, with only two tanks, the Sanifos range covers an FEA range of 1 820 millimetres, where generally 5 or 6 references would be needed, without being able to adjust very precisely to the desired FEA since these have a fixed FEA per tank. In addition to giving installers the assurance of having the right answer for every configuration, this SFA solution also offers distributors the clear advantage of stocking only two tank models.

As for the pumps, SFA has equipped the Sanifos 280 and the Sanifos 1300 with pumps perfectly suited to clean water lifting jobs, that is, neither undersized nor oversized. Indeed, the Sanifos 280 is offered with two types of pumps: either the Sanisub Steel, in stainless steel, which allows a lifting height of 10 m, or the Sanisub ZPK 40 A with a lifting height of 7 m. The Sanifos 1300 is equipped with the Sanisub Steel pump adjusted for a lift of 7 m, because as the tank height is 2,14 m (compared with 1,02 m for the Sanifos 280), there is no need to oversize the pump.

The new Sanifos 110 handles household grey water in every configuration

Another SFA novelty that illustrates the Sanifos range's ability to meet every configuration is the Sanifos 110 (for 110 L total volume) in a specific version fitted with the Sanisub ZPK AV pump (A for automatic and V for vertical, like the float with which this lifting station is equipped). This pump offers a maximum lifting height of 10 m for a maximum flow rate of 14 m3/h. Note also that the Sanisub ZPK 40 AV pump is also available for sale on its own, as it is the ideal solution for installation in small concrete manholes, 30 cm by 30 cm in this configuration.
