Schöck unveils its ready-to-assemble Schöck ASE formwork

Continuing with its new tagline "bearer of reliability", Schöck is further expanding its range of solutions and services, this time for precast manufacturers. Schöck has developed edge formwork elements that fit ideally into production lines to optimize the precasting process. Thanks to Schöck ASE formwork, all precast elements, such as the edges of precast slabs, precast walls, balconies and beam edges, benefit from a perfectly smooth appearance and an impeccable facing.
Schöck ASE, an innovative, fast solution for precast manufacturers
Schöck ASE is intended for the production of exposed concrete construction elements - edges of precast slabs, balconies, walls, beam formwork, and edge formwork in an installation configuration with thermal break elements - whose uniform surface (made of extruded fiber-reinforced concrete C40/50), free of bubbles and rough spots, is a real aesthetic asset.
Delivered ready to assemble, in a maximum length of 2.70 ML, these ASE profiles simply need to be cut to obtain the desired dimension and angle. Assembly is also made easier thanks to straight and corner connecting clips that ensure perfect alignment, while the dovetails create a mechanical bond with the fresh concrete. This complete turnkey solution is therefore simple, fast and safe to implement: highly valuable benefits for precast manufacturers seeking short lead times and improved profitability. It also has the advantage of generating no waste in the factory compared with traditional systems.
Formwork available for various uses: beam edges, balconies, precast walls, openings...
The Schöck ASE innovation comes in 4 distinct versions, namely:
- Schöck ASE DW0 is used for beam and precast slab edges, door and window openings, and stairwell openings: with no sealing gasket, its chamfered profile ensures a flawless finish.
- Schöck ASE DW1, for balconies, has a particularly effective rubber seal that on the one hand ensures watertightness during concrete pouring and on the other hand produces a perfect drip edge when the seal is removed after pouring.
- Schöck ASE DW2, dedicated to precast walls with or without openings, has two rubber seals, ensuring both its vertical positioning during formwork and watertightness during concrete pouring.
- Schöck ASE P, factory-extruded, features a chamfered profile particularly used for openings, which is inserted into precast slabs.
Schöck ASE formwork is also characterized by its resistance to bending (15-16 N/mm2), to pressure (55-60 N/mm2), to frost and to bad weather.
