Thursday, June 21, 2018Description :

The defence of global, fluid and creative architecture raised the foundations of this single-home project in Alboraya, Valencia. Built by the Ramón Esteve Studio, the geometric layout of this 665m2 house comes into view from the outside as a closed cube, whereas the upper part of the house makes the most of the light and offers clear views of the tiger nut gardens which are located just opposite. Levantine historiography.

With a total of five heights, it is in the lower floors where the relaxation areas and the storage spaces are found, whereas the living atmospheres are located in the upper part.

Mineral contrasts in natural wood
The avant-garde neat lines which shape the ventilated façade manufactured with the KRION® Solid Surface give the house a more solid finish. A building solution whose installation has been managed by the Butech technical office.

This material with high levels of mineral composition, is complemented with wood in a natural finish. A combination of textures which provides the space with spaciousness. The house terrace is characterised by being floor-tiled with the Paradise Lake Stone Negro natural stone mosaic from L’Antic Colonial. Minimal aesthetics thought up for the everyday enjoyment.

In the interior bathrooms, one can find design pieces such as the sanitaryware from the Essence-C series by Noken Porcelanosa Bathrooms and the Urban pull-out taps. In the kitchen, the custom-made worktop manufactured with KRION® stands out.

A vertical garden which purifies the air
The house has been built according to the energy efficiency regulations and it makes the most of all the resources in its surroundings. In the inner part, a patio area with a vertical garden has been created, the green lung which helps to regulate the temperature and the level of humidity.

All the rooms have been provided with natural cross ventilation and renewable energy sources alike. Among them, solar panels and a geothermal energy supply system. Enjoy some downtime in the Valencian vegetable garden.
