Onduline's Onduclair RENOV PST, the insulating roof overlay solution

A technical solution for corrugated fibre-cement sheet roofs and recognised as the most reliable on the market, the Onduclair range of roof overlay systems welcomes a new reference for 2019. The Onduline expert is innovating once again with Onduclair RENOV PST: a complete insulating roof overlay solution for fibre-cement roofs, whether or not they contain asbestos, intended to be covered with Roman tiles; a true aesthetic guarantee combined with perfect insulation and watertightness guaranteed for 10 years.
Recommended by building professionals in 2018 for its ONDUCLAIR® RENOV FC insulating roof overlay system, Onduline® is once again demonstrating its spirit of innovation by developing Onduclair RENOV PST. Intended for industrial, agricultural and commercial buildings, public access buildings (ERP) and single-family homes, this new Onduline reference offers 235 or 230 profiles, specially suited to Roman tile roofing. In addition to the comfort and energy savings provided by the insulation, this process makes it possible to reuse old tiles (saving on material costs) to give the roof even more character.
While the ONDUCLAIR® range simultaneously performs 3 functions (roof insulation, renovation of both watertightness and appearance, and reduced condensation), it is also an ideal solution for renovating buildings with fibre-cement roofs (with or without asbestos), without requiring their removal or drilling. Indeed, with Onduline's clever clip fastening system, roofers can clamp the fibre-cement sheets at their overlap without ever drilling them; a crucial point, especially when they contain asbestos.
Technically, the process simply consists of laying insulating elements (thickness 30, 50 and 80 mm) on the existing corrugated sheets. These elements are themselves corrugated, made of expanded polystyrene or rock wool, and covered with opaque polyester sheets reinforced with glass fibres and mineral fillers to ensure watertightness. Meaning no loss of business during the renovation of shops, factories or offices, Onduclair® RENOV PST (ochre-coloured) will also stand out for its lightness, as the complex adds only a minimal load on the roof frame.
In addition to adapting to the various profiles of the original roofing, with an installation compatible with 1 or 2 tiles, another strength of the Onduclair RENOV PST system is its great competitiveness during installation, which gives roofers time savings and quality work (6 to 8 m2 per hour per installer). By using Onduclair RENOV PST, professionals ensure ideal insulation (R up to 2,40), combined with a reduced risk of condensation, as well as perfect watertightness (without drilling).
