What is MAGNETECH? A unique patented technology for lifetime guaranteed performance
Nicoll created this non-mechanical system based on a magnetic flap and counter-flap, combined with a reduced water seal (1 cm).

During showering, the water exerts a pressure greater than the force of the magnets, and the mobile magnetic flap opens to allow drainage. The more the water flow increases, the more the mobile flap opens, ensuring a high flow rate (0,6 l/s, 36 l/min)!

During the shower, the flap remains suspended, held by the force of the magnets. It thus leaves no retention area or snag point for hair or residue.

Technology, but also aesthetics and practicality for the end user
Nicoll integrates its Push-Corner system into Docia®-XS. With no tools, and by simply pressing a finger on the corner of the grate, the user can remove it very quickly. Full access to the pipe is then available for easier cleaning.

On the aesthetic side, Nicoll offers 5 designer grates (in 304 stainless steel, in 10 x 10 and 15 x 15 cm formats) as well as a tile-insert grate (10 x 10 cm), which allows the trap to blend completely into the floor covering. Everything needed to make the shower area personalised and elegant!

At the end of the shower, as the water flow decreases, the magnetic force pulls the flap back up towards the counter-flap until it reaches the closed position. Combined with the water seal, the system withstands pressure and suction in the network and thus stops any odours from rising.

Watertightness is maximal, and users' comfort and well-being endless… because magnets are indeed eternal!

Secure installation: the Nicoll credo respected
Because secure, simplified installation is at the heart of its developments, Nicoll designed the new Docia®-XS trap for safe, fast and efficient installation. Its 60 mm height makes it possible to limit the depth of recesses and to build a walk-in shower even with a reduced opening.

As for the wide clampable flange (compatible with liquid waterproofing systems or full-membrane waterproofing systems), it ensures a perfect waterproofing connection between the trap and the screed, and guarantees the durability of the installation. These are all reassuring features for the tiler or plumber on their job sites.
