New ONDUTISS range: roofing underlays, vapour barriers and rain barriers

Following the acquisition of COROTOP®, Onduline has become a manufacturer of roofing underlays. The ONDUTISS® range has been expanded and now brings together roofing underlays, rain barriers and vapour barriers designed to protect home insulation and provide greater comfort to customers. Lightweight and very quick to install, these solutions offer optimal waterproofing and insulation. The roofing underlay protects all the elements located beneath the roof covering against bad weather, climatic variations and temperature changes. It prevents snow and rain from infiltrating and stops tiles from lifting if the wind blows too strongly. The roofing underlay also limits dust deposits as well as fire risks. In addition, it prevents the invasion of pests such as insects or birds, thus avoiding rapid deterioration of the insulation materials, the roof frame and the interior lining. Installing this product is recommended whatever the type of roof covering chosen, in order to prevent waterproofing defects that may occur over the years because of weather conditions or the formation of moss.

ONDUTISS® AIR HDV RESIST roofing underlay

Onduline's ONDUTISS® AIR HDV RESIST roofing underlays are made of a polypropylene sheet sandwiched between two layers of non-woven polypropylene. QB-certified by the CSTB (R2/150 gr/m2 and R3/190 gr/m2), they are highly permeable to water vapour (HPV) and allow the roof to breathe continuously, for permanent protection against moisture, wind and condensation. They can be installed in new builds as well as renovations: roofs of houses, apartment buildings, public buildings...

ONDUTISS® AIR REFLEX R3 and R3 TT roofing underlay

Highly reflective (up to 60% of the heat transmitted by infrared rays), Onduline's ONDUTISS® AIR REFLEX underlays have an aluminium top layer to lower the temperature in the attic space and improve summer comfort. Manufactured by thermal bonding, this four-layer breathable membrane has high mechanical strength and is very tear-resistant.

ONDUTISS®AIR SOLAR TT roofing underlay

With its resistance to high temperatures of up to 120°C, ONDUTISS®AIR SOLAR TT is ideal for use beneath photovoltaic panels and adapts to extreme climatic conditions. This three-layer breathable membrane (200 g/m2) features a highly water-vapour-permeable TPU film and a double adhesive strip.

ONDUTISS® VAP CONTROL 100 Sd 18 vapour barrier

The vapour barrier, for its part, is an insulating layer that limits the penetration of water vapour into the thermal insulation, thus preventing moisture build-up. It protects the inside of the roof against the penetration of water vapour that could condense in the thermal insulation and the timber structure of a roof. The 3-layer breathable membrane ONDUTISS® VAP CONTROL 100 Sd 18 regulates humidity and limits the transmission of water vapour through the structure (walls and ceilings). Installed on the inside for airtightness on the underside of the thermal insulation, it prevents damage caused by condensation and improves the energy efficiency of the building.

ONDUTISS® FACADE OPEN UV3B rain barrier

The rain barrier limits the risks of moisture and fungi in the thermal insulation and protects the timber structure of the house. Water vapour that penetrates the wall "slides" along the rain barrier into the cavity without infiltrating it. Waterproof, the Onduline ONDUTISS® FACADE OPEN UV3B rain barrier protects the facade of open-joint cladding from external moisture by draining it from the inside to the outside of the building. Highly UV-resistant, it protects the structure and the thermal insulation of the walls against water, snow and drafts inside the building.
