New HST MOTION OKNOPLAST Sliding Patio Door

Sliding patio doors are very trendy in modern architecture. Their large glazed surfaces bring exceptional light to the interior of the home. These openings also break down the boundaries between inside and outside, offering perfect continuity and thus enlarging living spaces. OKNOPLAST, the PVC window and door specialist, is launching HST MOTION: a new generation of sliding patio doors of up to 6 meters in width. The HST MOTION ?lift-and-slide? system allows one sliding sash to be stacked over the other without protruding, for optimal space savings. Very comfortable in everyday use, this mechanism allows the door to open smoothly, while a brake protects against sudden return. With its slimmer profiles that provide a larger glazing surface (base frame 194 mm/sash 82 mm), the new HST MOTION OKNOPLAST sliding patio door brings lightness and design to interiors while offering security and optimal thermal comfort.
HST MOTION OKNOPLAST sliding patio doors: smooth operation, comfort and high security
Safe and stable, the new HST MOTION OKNOPLAST sliding patio doors are designed for large openings and can support large-format glazing of up to 6,5 m2 per sash and 2,5 m in width. Fitted with steel reinforcements, they offer great stability and durability while remaining very easy to handle thanks to their ?lift-and-slide? system. For smoother movement, special hardware ensures that even very heavy sashes slide freely and without resistance, so the glazed door can be opened and closed effortlessly. In addition, a flat threshold gives a very attractive finish and makes the passage safer, as it prevents tripping when walking through the door. For an even higher level of security, anti-burglary hardware is available as an option. It strengthens protection against intrusion, notably through the use of an anti-burglary strike plate for class RC1 or RC2 protection.
Sliding patio doors with high thermal performance
As for glazing, HST MOTION doors can be installed with triple or quadruple glazing of 54 mm in thickness, which helps improve the home's energy balance and achieve significant energy savings. The tempered glass used to make this glazing provides high resistance to thermal bridges. To offer the highest quality to its customers, OKNOPLAST cuts the glazing units, which are then passed through a scanner so they can be inspected very effectively and any defects or dirt on the glass eliminated. A wide range of glazing with various patterns is offered to suit every interior style. HST MOTION OKNOPLAST doors achieve a Uw of 0,78 W/(m2K) for doors measuring 3 500 mm to 2 300 mm (width x height) with Ug 0,5 W/(m2K) glazing and the Warmatec thermal spacer.
Warmatec, a spacer that enhances glazing efficiency
The OKNOPLAST Warmatec spacer, located inside the glazing, combines excellent performance with a remarkable aesthetic finish. It is made of stainless steel for the lower part and plastic for the upper part, in order to achieve a very low thermal transmittance coefficient. The spacer prevents thermal bridges in the areas where the glass meets the frame and therefore lowers the Uw coefficient of the entire window. It is available in 3 colors: gray, caramel and black, to harmonize perfectly with the foil finish chosen for the window. To match the style of the home perfectly, HST MOTION OKNOPLAST sliding patio doors can be customized. You can choose from 24 colors and a selection of accessories. They are available with a wide range of foil finishes, with wood-effect imitations or RAL colors, to blend perfectly with any interior.
