New GNB 18V-38 BITURBO cordless concrete nailer from Bosch Professional

For quickly fixing drywall tracks, cable trays, ducts and more into hard materials such as concrete and steel, the nailer is an extremely practical tool. Following the cordless wood nailers 18V, and to meet this type of application, Bosch is launching the GNB 18V-38 Professional, the first cordless concrete nailer featuring BITURBO technology. Intuitive and easy to use, this new tool combines the BITURBO Brushless motor with a powerful pneumatic mechanism and the new ProCORE18V batteries. Combining these technologies enables the Bosch concrete nailer to deliver full power during nailing work, long runtime and a high level of working comfort. For added versatility, the GNB 18V-38 Professional is part of the AmpShare multi-brand battery alliance and is compatible with all batteries and chargers of the Bosch 18V Professional System.

With its compact and robust design, the new Bosch GNB 18V-38 Professional cordless concrete nailer is more compact and more practical to use than most tools on the market that run on gas cartridges or a compressor. It allows users to work more efficiently and with complete freedom, while limiting operating and maintenance costs. Thanks to its ProCORE 18V battery of 4,0 Ah and its BITURBO Brushless motor, the GNB 18V-38 Professional is lighter and can drive up to 500 nails on a single battery charge. In addition, tradespeople such as drywallers and electricians are more productive, as they can carry out serial fastening work quickly and directly, in a single operation. There is no longer any need to drill holes with a rotary hammer and fit plugs. They carry out fewer operations and are less exposed to dust and noise.

The GNB 18V-38 Professional and its galvanized carbon steel nails - available from 16 to 38 mm for concrete and from 13 to 19 mm for steel - form a safe and reliable fastening system. Indeed, the Bosch tool and nails benefit from European ETA/CE certifications, which apply to the most common concrete nails with a length of 25, 32 and 38 mm. Thanks to these certifications, construction professionals can count on a high load-bearing capacity of the nails and a high durability of the nailing.

The Bosch GNB 18V-38 Professional cordless concrete nailer has been designed to improve productivity on the job site as well as user safety. It is equipped with a mechanism that only triggers when the nose of the tool is pressed against the surface and the trigger is actuated. To drive the next nail, the ejection nose must be briefly lifted.

An integrated mechanism also ensures that when the nail magazine is almost empty, it is no longer possible to fire a shot. The magazine can hold 22 nails, and a longer magazine with 42 nails is available as an option. For safe operation, in the event of a nail jam, or of splinters or other debris stuck in the nose of the tool, an extraction pin supplied with the nailer makes it possible to remove the items obstructing the nail outlet.

Perfect control of the tool for fastening precision with the Bosch concrete nailer

An interactive display provides perfect, optimal control of the Bosch concrete nailer. The battery status is visible on the color screen, giving the user full control of the device. To ensure precise nailing and optimal visibility of the nail driving point, the GNB 18V-38 Professional is equipped with LED lighting. Finally, it also features a stop adjustable to 2 positions depending on the desired nail depth (deep or shallow). The nails are available in strips of 10, with 1 000 nails per pack.
