For woodworking, Bosch continues to expand its range of BITURBO cordless tools with a new radial mitre saw: the GCM 18V-216 DC Professional. With power comparable to a corded tool of 1 600 W, it delivers the most cuts per battery charge in its class (up to 267 cuts in 60 x 80 mm spruce wood), using "Eco" mode and a ProCORE18V 8,0 Ah battery, and stands out for its large cutting capacity of 70 x 300 mm.
Thanks to BITURBO Brushless technology, the GCM 18V-216 DC Professional delivers up to 40% more performance than the best model in the 36 V category (confirmed by an independent test institute).
Equipped with a user interface, the GCM 18V-216 DC Professional BITURBO can be paired with a smartphone to set and customise the tool's functions via the ToolBox app. In addition to seeing the battery status at a glance, users can easily adjust the speed to suit the material, such as wood, plastic and aluminium, and use "Eco" mode. The latter is recommended for lighter applications in order to extend battery life throughout the working day.
Flexible, the Bosch GCM 18V-216 DC Professional BITURBO is equipped with a double bevel. It can tilt up to 47° to the left and right, and offers an angle adjustment range of 52° to the left and 60° to the right.
For easier and more precise cuts, the radial mitre saw features integrated side extensions for better control and stabilisation of the workpiece. In addition, an LED light illuminates the work area and the cutting line is visible thanks to a dual-line laser.
Thanks to the Bosch "Click & Clean" system, craftspeople can work in a safer and cleaner environment and better protect their tools from dust. With a single click, the GCM 18V-216 DC Professional radial mitre saw connects to a vacuum cleaner. It also features two-point dust extraction: above and behind the workpiece. As a result, there is less dust in the air, cuts are more precise with fewer wood residues on the machined parts, and the worksite is cleaner.
The Bosch GCM 18V-216 DC Professional BITURBO is fitted with an "Expert for Wood" saw blade. Benefiting from Bosch carbide technology, it also contributes to the saw's high precision. With 48 teeth, it guarantees superior quality results and optimises the saw's battery life. Thanks to the SDS blade lock, blades can be changed easily and safely.
The GCM 18V-216 DC Professional BITURBO is compatible with all Bosch GTA mitre saw stands as well as all 18V Professional batteries and chargers (Bosch Professional 18V System).
