A new generation of versatile four-way expansion plug

The new fischer SX Plus four-way expansion plug offers a wide range of applications, whether you are an electrician, plumber, interior fitter, kitchen installer... or DIY enthusiast. It allows the fastening of lighting, cable trays, bathroom accessories, light wall cabinets, detectors, shelves, trellises, TV brackets... Furthermore, it delivers excellent performance in all hollow masonry and solid building materials: concrete, aerated concrete, solid brick, solid sand-lime brick, perforated sand-lime brick and concrete block.

A rigid SX Plus nylon plug

Of very high quality, the fischer SX Plus rigid nylon plug stands out for its optimized design and ease of installation. It slides quickly into the drill hole with a simple push thanks to its narrow body. This new-generation plug has 2 wings on its sides. When used with screws, the wings fold inward inside the plug as it is inserted into the hole, holding the screw firmly in place like a third hand. This screw locking leaves the user with both hands free, which is very handy for fixing items to the ceiling. Once the screw has been started, the plug can support small loads (~1 kg) during the installation process, pending full tightening. To avoid overtightening the screw, the plug's geometry is closed, providing a clearly perceptible tightening feel.

For maximum safety, the SX Plus has anti-rotation lugs that prevent the plug from turning in the drill hole during installation. It thus grips in all materials, even hollow ones, and gives the fixture a solid and secure hold in the substrate. Furthermore, thanks to its four-way expansion, the SX Plus ensures optimal force transmission into the building material, particularly in solid materials. Thanks to its narrow collar, the plug is easily pre-positioned and does not slip into the drill hole when screwing and inserting the screw. It allows both push-through and pre-positioned installation. Like all fischer plugs, the SX Plus has all important information (diameter, anchoring length) printed on its nylon body. The SX Plus is available in 9 diameters, in short versions (ø 4 to ø 14) and extended versions (ø 6 to ø 10). The extended version is ideal for aerated concrete and hollow building materials.
