A leading French designer and manufacturer, Kinedo is introducing Ekinox, an elegant range of shower enclosures with a bold, timeless design. Designed to suit every walk-in shower configuration (open space, open space with pivoting panel, pivoting door or sliding door for installation in a niche, in a corner or against a wall), Kinedo's Ekinox solutions can even be made to measure.
Single panel for an open shower space, single panel with a 180° pivoting panel, fixed panel for corner installation, fully opening pivoting door or with a small in-line fixed panel, enclosure with 1 sliding panel with no threshold, threshold-free pivoting door with in-line fixed section: Kinedo multiplies the possibilities. The Ekinox offer adapts to every need and every wish, all the more so as Ekinox can also be made to measure (for example, enclosures with a cut-out for installation in an attic or a room with angled walls).
With a height of 207 cm, ideal for tall people, the new Ekinox enclosures from Kinedo offer a choice of 3 profile finish colors: brushed stainless aluminum, copper and brushed ?kobalt? blue (depending on the models). Special mention also goes to the aesthetic work done on the exclusive design of the hinges, as well as on the elongated handle, both elegant and harmonious.
Still on finishes, note the transparent 6 mm glass with an anti-limescale treatment for a lasting appearance and easier maintenance. Likewise, Kinedo has equipped its Ekinox enclosure models with matching interior/exterior metal handles and, with attention to detail, a silicone-concealing strip matching the profile at the bottom of the enclosure.
In the same spirit of easy maintenance, Kinedo has fitted the Ekinox range with hinges flush with the glass, which therefore present no obstacle or gap, making it easier to pass a sponge or squeegee during cleaning. Still with this simplified maintenance in mind, Kinedo has fitted Ekinox with a completely smooth magnetic profile, with a magnet built directly inside the profile. Ease of use is also a priority, as Ekinox sliding doors have a soft opening/closing system that prevents potential impacts, which cause premature wear.
It should also be noted that the top-mounted roller system considerably reduces friction for guaranteed easy opening. Ekinox pivoting doors also ensure longevity, as Kinedo has fitted them with a 0,3 cm lifting system on opening, reducing wear on the seal at the bottom of the door. For professionals, Ekinox enclosures offer particularly easy and quick installation, which they will appreciate, with a perfect fit thanks to simplified adjustment of the enclosure to compensate for out-of-plumb walls. Installing the enclosures is child's play and takes just 4 steps (screw the profiles to the walls, slide the glass into the profile, position the seal that serves as a locking key and screw on the end caps).
Moreover, installing Ekinox is made even simpler thanks in particular to the very discreet parallel reinforcement system: Kinedo offers this reinforcement bar (no longer fitted perpendicular to the door) on pivoting or sliding doors, a solution that does not stress the perpendicular back wall and provides the rigidity of the enclosure while matching the clean design of a threshold-free enclosure. Besides the obvious aesthetic gain, this allows the shower column to be installed anywhere and overcomes the usual constraints such as a window on the wall parallel to the enclosure.
Finally, for the sake of discretion, perpendicular reinforcements or floor/ceiling posts are offered for Solo or Duo enclosures in 3 colors.
