The new Bosch 18 volt cordless impact drivers work even more flexibly and efficiently in tight, hard-to-reach places. Compared with similar models, the GDR 18V-200 C Professional and the GDX 18V-200 C Professional offer a better performance-to-size ratio. Both tools have a maximum torque of 200 Nm and a particularly short head of 126 or 147 mm.
This makes them more powerful and more compact than previous models, and they are designed for all fastening jobs in installation work and in metal and timber construction. They offer clear advantages by driving common screws of 6 x 60 mm faster and by running without kickback – the torque at the bit or screw is decoupled by the handle. Installers, carpenters and scaffolders can therefore use the tools with one hand – an advantage that is particularly appreciated in confined spaces.
In addition, the new GDX 18V-200 C Professional cordless impact driver stands out with its 2 1 hexagonal/square bit holder: it allows the use of both screwdriving bits and socket wrenches. This makes the tool even more versatile.
Connectivity functions for customized tool settings
The Bosch GDR 18V-200 C Professional and GDX 18V-200 C Professional can be networked: via Bluetooth, functions can be adjusted individually through an app in order to tailor them to your needs. Soft start, which allows, for example, very controlled and precise screwdriving in wood, is one of these functions. Care and maintenance are also made easier: information on the tool's condition is sent to tradespeople via smartphone. In addition, a repair order can be sent quickly via the app – at any time. Fast and efficient screwdriving – with preset speed levels
Both Bosch cordless impact drivers are equipped with three preset speed levels so that tradespeople can work even faster and more efficiently: the preselected speed reduces the risk of stripping screws and pulling them out.
The first speed is designed for small screws, the second for medium-sized screws and the third for large screws. This corresponds, for example, to screwdriving into sheet metal, wooden boards and metal profiles.
For even more control, the variable-speed trigger allows tradespeople to regulate power individually. For a longer service life, both models are equipped with brushless motors and run on powerful 18 volt lithium-ion batteries.
