New BITURBO 18V Bosch Professional impact wrench: exceptional power for demanding, intensive applications

Bosch is expanding its BITURBO range of tools with the new GDS 18V-1600 HC Professional cordless impact wrench. With its optimized design, the high-performance BITURBO Brushless motor, combined with the ProCORE18V battery (8,0 Ah recommended), delivers high power for demanding, intensive bolt fastening in heavy industry, the petrochemical industry, the automotive industry and more.

Performance for tough applications
Very powerful, the Bosch Professional GDS 18V-1600 HC is a 3/4'' cordless impact wrench combining a BITURBO Brushless motor with a ProCORE18V battery. Together, these technologies deliver a high fastening torque of 1 600 Nm and a breakaway torque of 2 200 Nm. The tool can therefore handle tough applications: maintenance of industrial machinery, steel construction, pipe installation, maintenance of vehicles or construction equipment and more.

With a maximum of 1750 tr/min, the GDS 18V-1600 HC Professional can tighten and loosen metal bolts and nuts from M16 to M33. It also offers 3 speed levels to control speed and torque, so the machine can be adapted to the job at hand.

To give users maximum flexibility and save time, the GDS 18V-1600 HC Professional features a user interface with 2 preset modes, mode A and mode B.

All of the tool's functions can be customized via the Bosch Toolbox app to suit users' specific needs.

Numerous features for safer and more comfortable use

Compact and ergonomic, the impact wrench offers many features and electronic protection systems:

- The configurable ABR (Auto Bolt Release) mode ensures controlled loosening of metal bolts and nuts, with no risk of loss or dropping.

- Electronic Cell Protection (ECP) protects the battery against overload and overheating.

- Electronic Motor Protection (EMP) protects the motor against overload and ensures lasting performance.

The impact wrench also has an LED charge indicator, an LED light, a 3/4'' tool holder with friction ring and through hole, and a hanging hook.

For greater versatility, the tool is compatible with all batteries and chargers of the AMPShare battery alliance, including the batteries and chargers of the Bosch Professional 18V system.

New PRO Impact sockets: extremely robust sockets
The new Bosch PRO Impact sockets are fully compatible with high-torque tools and demanding applications.

Made from thicker, high-quality forged steel, they absorb torque peaks and offer high impact resistance. A black phosphate coating protects them from rust and increases their durability.

The machine-driven PRO Impact sockets comply with the ISO 2725-2 standard. They have passed:

- the humidity test, to ensure they do not rust,

- the torque test, to ensure that the torque requirements for impact sockets are met,

- the impact test, to ensure the sockets can withstand a high impact force.

PRO Impact sockets have a groove and a through hole for better retention on the tool when secured with the retaining ring and pin.

They are available in sizes from 10 to 32 mm and are color-coded to easily identify the correct drive size.
