Ubbink France is offering new high-performance, durable solutions that meet both technical and aesthetic requirements. Two new ranges, drawing on Ubbink's expertise, are now available in the 2020 catalogue: a ventilation terminal designed specially for flat roofs and solutions for routing solar panel cables.
Since January 2020, Ubbink has been expanding its range of ventilation terminals with a flat roof ventilation terminal. Whether for soil stack ventilation, kitchen hood extraction, or single and dual-flow mechanical ventilation (VMC), Ubbink terminals suit a wide variety of configurations. High-performing, it shows a pressure loss of less than 11Pa for an airflow of 200m3/h, making it one of the most efficient solutions on the market.
In addition, with perfect resistance to wind and UV, it adapts to all weather conditions. Discreet and elegant on the roof, it is also very quick to install thanks to its removable cap and its 60 cm tube. It is suitable for both new builds and renovation. This terminal is available in 2 versions: non-insulated and insulated. The insulated version helps prevent condensation and thus preserves the service life of the installations. Finally, the terminal cap is made from reusable raw materials and its packaging is made from recycled cardboard. The terminal is part of a fully eco-responsible approach.
Investments in solar energy, encouraged by upcoming environmental regulations, are expected to increase installations of solar thermal and photovoltaic panels. However, it can sometimes be difficult to maintain a roof's waterproofing when installing these panels and cables. With this constraint in mind, Ubbink offers 3 solar cable entry solutions that are watertight and UV-resistant for perfect long-term durability:
- A solar thermal cable entry, suitable for all types of roofs. It allows up to 2 thermal tubes with a maximum diameter of 50 mm to pass through. It is fitted with a UBIFLEX® flashing (ochre or black), a lead-free, malleable material that fits the shape of the tile perfectly.
- A solar photovoltaic cable entry, suitable for all types of roofs and allowing up to 6 cables with a diameter from 4 to 8 mm to pass through. It is fitted with a UBIFLEX® flashing (ochre or black), a lead-free, malleable material that fits the shape of the tile perfectly.
- A solar thermal and photovoltaic cable entry specifically designed for flat roofs, allowing 2 thermal tubes with a maximum diameter of 50mm or 6 cables with a diameter from 4 to 8 mm to pass through.
These three solutions spare roofers from running cables between the tiles, thus limiting breakage of roofing elements as well as wear on the cables over time.
