Made in France in Marseille, this Large Format Deep Curve tile has everything it takes to appeal. The Canal tile, an emblem of roofs in the South and especially around the Mediterranean, is the oldest of the clay tiles. Its very distinctive curved shape inspired the design of the Large Format Deep Curve tiles. With a long-standing presence in the region thanks to its famous Large Format Deep Curve tiles Abeille, Romane and Galleane® 10, Monier presents Noveane®, the latest addition to its range, particularly well suited to the new-build and renovation markets. This Large Format Deep Curve tile with an innovative design, fresh from the Marseille factory, is intended for single-family homes as well as large-scale roofs that demand cost-effectiveness and high performance.

A high-performance tile
Noveane® has undergone extensive studies and tests by the designers and engineers of the BMI technical center. The main technical developments focused on:
- The design of the tile has been completely rethought to make it easier to handle and to offer new longitudinal and lateral play. The result: a tile with impeccable aesthetics that is easier to install.
- The qualities of the Puyloubier clay give the tiles exceptional strength. In addition, the grinding capacity of the Marseille factory, finer than 450 microns, gives the tile a smooth finish.
- With its remarkable weight-to-strength ratio, Noveane® is the lightest tile in its category ? 4,7 kg.

A winning double play
Noveane® features a longitudinal interlocking play of 3 cm; there are no more cuts at the ridge from 4,55 linear meters of rafter length. Its lateral interlocking play of 1 cm with laying marks allows easy and quick alignment of the tile rows. These new play features improve installation comfort.

As a result of its format and its lateral and longitudinal play, Noveane® offers a remarkable coverage rate of 8,6 to 9,5 tiles per m2. This clay solution is therefore particularly valuable on large-scale roofs where, more than ever, speed of installation is important.

Noveane® draws on the line of the traditional Canal tile but revisits it in a contemporary style: a sharp longitudinal edge with clean contours, a pronounced curved base and a slight step at the nose. A modern profile that keeps its lovely southern accent.
