Kinesurf découpable, an extra-flat shower tray by Kinedo

New from Kinedo 2018: the extra-flat shower tray
Kinesurf découpable offers 3 installation options: fully recessed, partially recessed, or not recessed at all with feet, to suit every preference and every configuration.
Made from Biotec, a lightweight, rigid patented material that provides enhanced thermal and acoustic insulation, Kinesurf découpable is more resistant than a ceramic shower tray thanks to its fiberglass perimeter frame. Another advantage over other cut-to-size shower trays: the surface is less brittle, which prevents it from shattering into fragments if knocked during transport or when cut on site.

In addition, its bacteriostatic surface, naturally non-slip (with a PN6 rating for the glossy white versions) in thermoformed Biocryl, also limits any risk of falling. Kinedo also offers a PN24 non-slip treatment for the matt white versions.
Kinesurf découpable also comes with an extra-flat drain fitted with a drain cover in white Biocryl reinforced with stainless steel, perfectly matched to the shower tray. This drain swivels through 360 ° and boasts a high flow rate of 25 litres/min, compatible with a rain shower.

As for installation, Kinesurf découpable will quickly win people over with its many strengths. Kinesurf découpable is light and strong (16,5 kg/m2, i.e. 2 to 2,5 times lighter than a ceramic shower tray), so it can easily be handled by one person. It offers perfect adaptability since it can be cut on all 4 sides. The underside of the shower tray is flat (apart from the drain area), which makes recessing into the screed simpler. Finally, the version with adjustable feet allows a raised height of 10 to 15 cm.
