Kinedo unveils its new designer extra-flat shower trays

Design, easy access, anti-slip surface and extremely simple installation: the Kinemoon extra-flat shower tray is out of this world

As 2019 celebrated the 50th anniversary of the first step of man on the moon, in 2020, Kinedo invites you to step onto its new extra-flat shower trays (2,6 cm maximum external projection), with a particularly trendy and realistic stone-effect texture, to achieve a successful extra-flat shower, in both new builds and renovations. Aesthetic and anti-slip, Kinemoon leaves no creative configuration in the shade: it can be cut on 4 sides and installed with a full, shallow or no recess, and this new Kinedo solution is available in 16 sizes and 2 shapes, in a choice of 5 colours, complemented by 3 drain grates matching the shower tray.

Kinemoon, a sleek and sophisticated designer shower tray

With each collection, Kinedo takes care to develop solutions whose technical performance is combined with a distinctive aesthetic approach. This taste for refined design is perfectly embodied in its new Kinemoon range of extra-flat shower trays. Following on from Kinerock, with its highly appreciated mineral look, Kinedo is expanding its mineral finishes with a stone effect of striking realism. Focusing on authenticity and material, this new texture is naturally refined and comes in 5 subtle shades with a resolutely contemporary feel: Anthracite Grey, Stone Grey, Sand, Black and White. With attention to detail and a decorative approach to personalise the shower space as desired, Kinedo complements these options with no fewer than 3 different designs of metal drain grates and the possibility of matching the colour to the chosen shower tray. While the extra-flat horizontal drain blends perfectly into the decor, it also offers a flow rate of 24 litres/min.

Shower trays with proven technical performance

In addition to their aesthetic qualities, Kinemoon shower trays offer a wide range of technical qualities. Thanks to their construction based on Biolex, a material made of a mineral filler and an acrylic resin, they have a density that allows them to remain rigid over time and not to warp. Their gelcoat surface also guarantees high resistance to scratches, impacts and abrasion, contributing to a long service life as well as easy maintenance. As for the stone-effect textured finish of Kinemoon shower trays, it de facto ensures high grip and therefore optimal safety against any risk of slipping. These new shower trays also have the highest slip resistance class: PN24 (barefoot grip on a surface wetted with soapy water up to a shower tray inclination of 24 °).

Kinemoon: an extra-flat shower tray that overcomes layout challenges

The key asset of Kinemoon shower trays, this time for installers, is their great adaptability. Indeed, these new Kinedo solutions, ideal for walk-in shower projects, can be cut and drilled along the edges if the installation of the screen requires it. This made-to-measure operation can be carried out when the order is placed at the factory or directly on site using a grinder with a diamond blade of Ø 230 mm minimum. Symmetrical or asymmetrical cuts, on both sides or on one side only, along the length as well as the width, with a centred or off-centre drain: with Kinemoon, everything is possible, in both square and rectangular formats. Offering another range of choices for ever more flexibility and installation possibilities, Kinemoon can be installed with a full recess, a shallow recess or even no recess (thanks to adjustable foot kits allowing a height increase from 9,5 to 14 cm).
