Indoor Air Quality: the new STYL'AIR QAI Autogyre single-flow VMC unit

Indoor Air Quality: the new STYL'AIR QAI Autogyre single-flow VMC unit
According to a study by the Indoor Air Quality Observatory (OQAI), the air in homes is polluted by multiple sources (household products, cosmetics, insecticides, combustion residues, mold...) and by various harmful and carcinogenic substances (carbon monoxide, formaldehyde, VOCs, nitrogen dioxide...). On average, people spend more than 80 % of their time in an enclosed environment, where indoor air is up to 8 times more polluted than outdoor air!

Moreover, as homes are increasingly well insulated, they are more airtight and therefore more prone to indoor pollution. Air quality therefore remains a priority issue for the health of occupants, as all these pollutants can cause fatigue, illness, allergies, asthma, headaches... Controlled mechanical ventilation (VMC) is essential for airing the home and ensuring the comfort and hygiene of occupants. It continuously renews indoor air by bringing in fresh air and removing pollutants, and limits condensation that can damage the building structure.

AUTOGYRE, a specialist in ventilation and air treatment for 60 years, continues to develop solutions to preserve indoor air quality and improve well-being, comfort and health in the home. This year, AUTOGYRE has completely rethought its range of single-flow (SF) VMC units and developed the STYL'AIR QAI VMC. Made in France, this new SF VMC filters incoming air and purifies indoor air, using extremely efficient electronic detection, control and extraction modules. In addition, its QUICK'AIR STOP© system (AUTOGYRE patent) makes installation very easy.

High-performance electronic modules for healthy air 24h/24

NF Electricity certified, AUTOGYRE's new self-adjusting STYL'AIR QAI SF VMC is ideal for renovation and for a home with 2 to 7 main rooms, equipped with a kitchen and up to 4 bathrooms/toilets. Extracted air and fresh air flow rates are constant and automatic regardless of the number of occupants.
With a low noise level, the sound pressure level of the STYL'AIR QAI VMC at the kitchen vent is 21 dB(A).

High-performing and featuring a new design, this new SF VMC makes it possible to:
Filter incoming air: The air inlets are fitted with a filter to capture outdoor pollution. The air entering the home is purified.
Detect pollutants: The QAI and 2 HR Control electronic modules (sensors) in the unit detect humidity and pollutants (H2O, CO2 and VOCs).

Purify indoor air: The unit has 2 speeds. As soon as the sensors in the kitchen or bathroom detect a deterioration in indoor air quality, the VMC automatically switches to high speed (HS) to extract the pollutants. When conditions return to normal, it switches back to low speed (LS). High speed can also be activated manually via a switch installed in the kitchen. After 30 minutes, low speed resumes.

Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) STYL'AIR QAI

The single-flow VMC continuously renews the air in the home. Outdoor air is brought in through the air inlets located in the living areas (dining room, living room, bedrooms...) to the wet rooms where the extraction vents are placed. These are connected by ducts to a unit that continuously expels stale air outside the home. Humid air does not stagnate and pollutants are removed.

QUICK'AIR STOP©, a patented innovation to make installation easier

To simplify the connections of the STYL'AIR QAI, the unit is equipped with removable QUICK'AIR STOP© connectors, a patented innovation that guarantees a perfect seal between the ducts and each port of the unit.
