Installing a heat pump requires high-performance radiators to optimize efficiency and guarantee energy savings. Winter comfort
In central heating mode, the Acova Fassane Neo, supplied by a reversible air-to-water or geothermal heat pump, works like a traditional radiator. The fans are adjusted according to the output required (3 speeds to choose from). They switch on when the incoming water temperature is above 25°C and the air temperature is at least 2°C lower than this. When the difference is small, the fans stop.
Summer comfort
During hot spells, the Acova Fassane Neo radiator, connected to these types of heat pumps, cools the interior of the home. The fans switch on when the chilled water temperature is below 21°C and the air temperature is at least 2°C higher than this. Conversely, they switch off when the cooling water temperature exceeds 21°C or when the air temperature approaches the water temperature at 2°C.
Twice as compact as a traditional radiator of equivalent output, the Acova FASSANE NEO can heat and cool very large volumes with low-temperature heat pump models (reversible air-to-water or geothermal) offering a better coefficient of performance, previously reserved for underfloor heating and fan coil units.
Horizontal or vertical, it features at the front a heating body fully filled with water, which delivers its output primarily through radiant heat. At the rear, a high-performance copper and aluminium exchanger is combined with ultra-flat fans which, when activated, generate an airflow counter-current to the exchanger for better thermal efficiency and faster convection. For perfect comfort, the air circulation is imperceptible. Finally, particular attention has been paid to acoustics. Two sound insulators surround the exchanger to make it almost silent.
