Girpi E-Reglette, the app for managing expansion in pressure systems

Pipe expansion occurs in networks when materials, whatever they may be, are subjected to temperature changes.
This results in an increase or decrease in the length of the pipes.

To avoid any risk of deformation and damage to installations, it is important to control this phenomenon from the design stage of the networks. To help plumbing companies and design offices size networks correctly on their sites, GIRPI has launched E-Reglette, its mobile app to assist with expansion management.

Developed in-house by GIRPI's IT department, the E-Reglette app supports professionals in the field, helping them to correctly calculate expansion compensation devices on its synthetic-material pressure systems:

• SYSTEM'O, a complete PVC-C solution for domestic hot and cold water distribution,
• KRYOCLIM, a complete solution for the transport of chilled fluids and cold air conditioning,
• GIRAIR, a complete solution for compressed air distribution,
• PVC-U K62, fittings for cold water distribution.

Available free of charge on Google Play, the E-Reglette app enables design offices and installers alike to:
• easily and quickly check the correct positioning of clamps after a change of direction or a branch connection,
• calculate the right distance to make an expansion loop or a loop arm, in order to correctly create compensation zones and thus limit the expansion stresses exerted on the network.

Very simple to use, the new E-Reglette app is a practical tool for managing expansion in pressure systems.
