Specially designed for optimum performance when cutting very hard materials (metal, stone, concrete…) and for sanding and deburring work (such as deburring metal), the new Festool AGC 18 cordless angle grinder features:
• a powerful brushless EC-TEC motor, completely sealed, and an insulated electronic system. The whole unit is perfectly protected, ensuring great longevity, offers high resistance to dust and requires no maintenance,
• an ergonomically shaped body for a perfect grip that ensures greater precision in use.
Combining robustness and endurance, the new Festool AGC 18 cordless angle grinder guarantees fast results in all circumstances. Compatible with the batteries and chargers of the Festool 18 Volt system, it offers long runtime to meet the specific requirements of all trades.
With its continuously adjustable speed from 4 500 to 8 500 min-1, the AGC 18 cordless angle grinder, with its soft start, allows professionals to adapt the machine's speed to the materials and thus reach the best result faster.

That is why the new cordless angle grinder combines strengths so that cutting, grinding or deburring are always carried out under the best conditions. A soft start, electronic overload protection, a fast motor brake and restart protection ensure safe use of the tool. Of note, the hand protection accessory, specially designed for work with wire brushes, is available as an option (included in the Plus version).

The motor and the housing are fully decoupled from each other. The result: smooth and quiet operation as well as reduced vibration, all for fatigue-free work. To simplify changing the disc according to the materials being worked, the grinder is equipped with a lockable spindle system and a quick-release clamping nut. Requiring no tools, this solution is a real time-saver: simply unlock the central nut, replace the disc and reposition the nut by tightening it properly.
