Festool unveils its new CT MINI and CT MIDI site vacuum cleaners

Dust extraction is vitally important: it keeps renovation work cleaner and improves air quality, thereby protecting the health of tradespeople.
Compact, lightweight and featuring touch controls, Festool's new connected CT MINI and MIDI vacuum cleaners are suited to all applications, whether in the workshop or on site. With these two models, Festool prioritizes mobility and offers ergonomic, high-performance solutions that are ideal for getting around.

Two new solutions with innovative features…
Certified for dust class L, the CT MINI and CT MIDI extract non-hazardous dust from paints, varnishes and plaster, as well as materials such as soil, with a threshold value of 1 mg/m3.

The CT MIDI is also available as the CTM MIDI for extracting harmful class M dust (wood dust and mineral dust with a threshold value of 0,1 mg/m3). It then also automatically adjusts to the appropriate suction hose diameter. Highly efficient, the CT MINI and MIDI feature new high-tech functions that improve tradespeople's working conditions.

• Touch control
With the touch control panel, the CT MINI and MIDI no longer have manual buttons. Very intuitive, they can be switched on even with gloves on or when the unit is dirty. After switching on, the vacuum cleaner immediately goes into automatic mode.

• Integrated Bluetooth® technology
Requiring no additional installation, the integrated Bluetooth® technology lets you start the vacuum cleaners remotely and so avoid unnecessary trips. The CT MINI and MIDI can then start automatically via the remote control or the Bluetooth® battery: a particularly effective function for working at height, on scaffolding for example.

The 5,2 and 6,2 Ah batteries as well as the Ergo 3,1 I and Compact 3,1 CI models are now Bluetooth®-enabled. Compatible with this entire range, the CT MINI and MIDI vacuum cleaners can be combined with Festool 18 V cordless tools fitted with a BT battery, such as the RTSC 400, DTSC 400 or ETSC 125 hybrid cordless sanders. They provide optimum comfort and mobility, greatly facilitating use on construction sites.

• Optimal ergonomics for mobility
Thanks to their compact dimensions, low weight and robust design, the CT MINI and MIDI are perfectly suited to the frequent journeys tradespeople make, from the workshop to the site. For safe and clean transport, the new vacuum cleaners have an internal compartment for storing the suction hose. Just as practical, the external cable reel with swivel mechanism lets you unwind the cable in no time. The flat storage surface of the new models is also very functional. It allows tools to be carried or placed safely and is ideal as a seat.

• High suction power
Over the course of cleaning, dust can clog the main filter or the filter bag. The new compact CT MINI and MIDI vacuum cleaners have a ?manual cleaning? option that maintains suction flow and considerably increases the filter bag's fill level. The conical shape of the smooth suction hose also contributes to the vacuum cleaners' performance by providing high suction power.

• Ease of use
The CT MINI and MIDI are equipped with the SYS-Dock system with T-LOC, which simplifies the assembly of SYSTAINER, SORTAINER or SYS-Toolbox units and securely fastens them on top of the vacuum cleaner. In the same spirit of speed, the main filter is now replaced via external access and requires no tools. The smooth suction hose, for its part, slides over surfaces and avoids snagging, for clean and efficient work.
