As is tradition, European leader Hörmann launches a major annual campaign every year. And 2019 stands out for an unprecedented breadth of products involved. The Hörmann new products 2019 include in particular sectional garage door finishes as well as steel or aluminium entrance door solutions.
In addition to optimal security and insulation performance that guarantees a high level of comfort as well as energy savings, garage doors must also have a design that harmonises with the building.
With the Duragrain surface, the innovation developed by Hörmann, customising the garage door becomes easy, accessible, safe and long-lasting. Indeed, this new printing process for sectional doors makes it possible to reproduce on hot-dip galvanised surfaces, in a natural and highly realistic way, down to the finest details, wood finishes or on-trend styles such as concrete, rusted steel and more.
These designs, subsequently sealed in the process by a high-resistance varnish, do not tarnish and are UV-resistant (5-year guarantee); moreover, in addition to fade-proof colours, they even offer high scratch resistance, true guarantees of exemplary longevity. These are major assets, without the drawbacks of the regular maintenance required by original materials such as wood.
And because Hörmann thinks of everything, the manufacturer offers to complement these new design options with lintels and frame trims in a colour matching the designs.
The ThermoPlan Hybrid aluminium/stainless steel entrance door completes Hörmann's premium range. The ThermoPlan Hybrid is immediately characterised by a refined design combined with a particularly elegant look, thanks to the flush joint between the door panel and its frame.
With a UD value of 0,8 W/(m²·K), the ThermoPlan Hybrid fully meets the most demanding thermal insulation requirements and is therefore an ideal answer to energy-saving needs. Its aluminium/stainless steel door leaf, 82 mm thick, is filled with injected PU foam, and the aluminium door frame (82 mm) features a thermal break. Better still, the frame also comes with an interior leaf profile with a flush joint.
It should also be mentioned that the ThermoPlan Hybrid offers great rigidity thanks to its powder-coated stainless steel sheet on the outside, as well as great dimensional stability, even with very large differences between indoor and outdoor temperatures. Finally, the ThermoPlan Hybrid has a triple level of sealing with a full perimeter gasket and triple glazing with thermal insulation and safety glass on both sides. In terms of security too, the ThermoPlan Hybrid is fitted with an anti-lift-off point and comes as standard with a 5-point lock, which complements a profile cylinder protected against drilling and pulling out, for optimal security.
