Effective roof tile fixing with TECTYS Imerys Toiture harpoon hooks

To prevent tiles from being blown off during storms or thunderstorms, fixing them is a mandatory step that must take into account various factors such as the pitch of the roof and wind exposure, according to pressure/suction effects.

Following the launch of its FLEXEO® and ALTKA® sealing strips, IMERYS Toiture is expanding its range of functional accessories with the TECTYS harpoon hook. An innovative solution to help roofers fix interlocking tiles easily, safely and durably.

Highly reliable fixing for quality workmanship
Suited to both the new-build and renovation markets, the new TECTYS harpoon hook uses a harpooning principle to provide reinforced tile fixing.

Through the combined action of a tension spring and its tip, bevelled in the direction of the roof slope, the hook digs into the batten under the effect of the wind. The greater the suction effect, the more the spring acting on the harpoon's bevelled tip strengthens the fixing of the tile, which thus remains perfectly in place.
The TECTYS harpoon hook enables roofers to fix tiles to the roof durably and quickly, in full compliance with the DTU standards.

A universal solution for simplified installation
Thanks to its universal design, the IMERYS Toiture TECTYS harpoon hook can be used to fix all interlocking tiles. No more managing and storing different hook models on construction sites.

For convenience, IMERYS Toiture offers this new accessory in a complete kit that is easy to transport and store, in which roofers will find all the equipment needed to easily mechanically fix tiles to the roof in record time.
