Biddle launches a reversible unit heater that ensures comfort and energy savings

A global leader in air conditioning and air distribution technologies, Biddle today launches a reversible unit heater that ensures comfort and energy savings. Multidirectional nozzle technology equips the Noz2 unit heater range, which is designed for high-ceilinged premises in industry, retail and leisure.

?The latest addition to the Noz2 range, the Noz2 Cooling handles both heating and air conditioning,? said Kim Wilson, Marketing Director of the Biddle group. The various models in this comprehensive range can heat or cool from a water network, or heat using gas. The nozzle technology, optimal for air distribution by induction, sets the NOZ range apart from its competitors with an economical solution for air conditioning large spaces.

This system ensures significant air mixing over a large area thanks to the induction effect, adjustable discharge nozzles and minimal heat loss, enabling efficient energy recovery.
?Specially designed for large buildings with high ceilings, the NOZ2 range is more efficient than conventional products and offers significantly higher performance?, adds Kim. ?Fewer units are needed to heat or air-condition large spaces, while the automatic control is easier to use than most other systems.?

The main difference between the NOZ2 range and traditional unit heaters lies in the number of air outlets. While most products on the market are fitted with a single grille, ours have six, hence the name NOZ (from the English word nozzle). The nozzles can be positioned individually to target workstations and deliver heated or cooled air exactly where it is needed.

The NOZ2 Cooling technology draws in air at high level, which is then cooled and distributed evenly throughout the room. The condensation resulting from cooling is collected by an integrated anti-mist device and can be drained away. As a result, this reversible unit heater can be installed anywhere. The automatic control function of the NOZ2 automatically adjusts the discharge temperature and fan speed for a constant, comfortable temperature. Indeed, the CHIPS technology developed by Biddle constantly evaluates the optimal volume of air discharged and the optimal temperature to reach the defined setpoint. EC fans ensure minimal energy consumption.

The system is programmed on a user-friendly automatic control terminal, which is connected to a room thermostat. Up to 50 NOZ2 can be connected to a single b-touch terminal for heating or air conditioning. On the model with fresh air supply, up to ten units can be controlled from a single b-touch terminal.
