Another solution developed by Beissier is the roughing-out plaster for concrete in sprayable paste (Airless), intended for exterior use on balcony undersides, for smoothing and leveling substrates, and for repairing precast slab joints. Finally, let us mention the latest creation of Beissier R&D, a versatile adhesive plaster, Prestonett P7 with 7 functions in 1, offering genuine guarantees of ease of application, competitiveness and optimal results...

Hunting formaldehyde with ACÉNIS, Beissier's new range of depolluting plasters
According to recent studies conducted by the OQAI (Indoor Air Quality Observatory), indoor air is 8 times more polluted than outdoor air.

Toxic substances (such as formaldehyde) can be emitted by furniture, adhesives, cleaning products, textiles, or when certain candles are burned or food is cooked...

One of the first consequences of this pollution in enclosed spaces is the development of allergic diseases, but also irritations, respiratory disorders, headaches...

Note that in France, allergic diseases affect 18 million people, i.e. 25 to 30% of the population. Cleaning up indoor air is becoming a genuine public health issue. Beissier is innovating and announces the launch of the ACÉNIS range of depolluting plasters, formulated with an active ingredient that captures and neutralizes formaldehyde.

Formaldehyde?
This volatile organic compound can be emitted by furniture, adhesives, paints and cleaning products, textiles, or when cooking food... Classified since 2004 by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) as a ?substance carcinogenic to humans?, it is one of the substances measured under the regulations on indoor air emissions.

What does the regulation say?
The Grenelle 2 Environment law makes monitoring of indoor air quality mandatory in certain establishments receiving potentially sensitive audiences (childcare facilities for children under 6 years old and nursery schools before 1er January 2018, primary schools before 1er January 2018, leisure centers and 2nd level education before 1er January 2020, and before 1er January 2023 for other establishments).

ACÉNIS by Beissier, the new range of smart plasters
Wishing to provide a clear answer to this issue and determined to reduce the harmful effect of formaldehyde, Beissier has, since 2010, been carrying out an R&D initiative aimed at eliminating this volatile organic compound from all of its ranges.

Today, the Beissier laboratory is developing an innovative technology using an active ingredient that both captures and neutralizes this substance present in indoor air. The process, whose effectiveness has been proven by an independent laboratory, is simple and particularly innovative.

ACÉNIS technology purifies indoor air quality by destroying up to 85% of formaldehyde molecules. Note also that the new generation of Beissier plasters is effective from 24 h and is compatible with all paints. For even greater effectiveness, Beissier recommends using the depolluting plasters of the ACÉNIS range together with a depolluting paint.

The effectiveness of BAGAR® AIRLISS G and PRESTONETT® F plasters serving indoor air depollution
Beissier makes it a point of honor to develop solutions combining technical performance with consideration of environmental issues.

Thus, each of the Beissier solutions in the ACÉNIS range has notable characteristics. Beissier offers a complete range of depolluting plaster solutions, both in terms of application method, mechanized by airless (BAGAR® AIRLISS G - ACÉNIS) and manual application (PRESTONETT® F - ACÉNIS), and in terms of technical performance.

BAGAR® AIRLISS G - ACÉNIS, a ready-to-use depolluting roughing-out and finishing plaster in sprayable paste, is used for smoothing and leveling substrates, by manual or Airless application. BAGAR® AIRLISS G - ACÉNIS offers all the performance of BAGAR® AIRLISS G: good slip, good filling, easy sanding and fine grain.

BAGAR® AIRLISS G - ACÉNIS is also practical to apply, with application between - 8 °C and + 35 °C, a maximum application thickness of 5 mm per coat, and suitability for many substrates (concrete, aerated concrete, cement, concrete block, brick, plaster, plasterboard, old paint, glass cloth, or even old textured coating).

Note that BAGAR® AIRLISS G - ACÉNIS holds the NF Environnement mark, issued by AFNOR and intended to certify, throughout their life cycle, that the products or services bearing it have a lower negative impact on the environment and satisfactory quality of use.

For its part, PRESTONETT® F - ACÉNIS Finition lissage, a depolluting smoothing and finishing plaster in powder form for interior use, effectively masks imperfections in the substrate (concrete, cement, plaster and derivatives, plasterboard or old paint).

Thanks to easy preparation (45% dilution) and sanding, wet-on-wet application and a long working time, PRESTONETT® F - ACÉNIS allows manual smoothing of substrates that is appreciated by professionals. PRESTONETT® F - ACÉNIS shows good slip and also remarkably fine grain.

This ACÉNIS innovation supports a sustainable development approach already undertaken by Beissier to control energy consumption and discharges, prevent any pollution, be proactive in raising awareness and controlling risks... To work toward its objectives, Beissier provides all the human, organizational, financial and technical resources necessary to achieve them. Made in France, the ACÉNIS range has the A+ label (VOC < 1 g/L (pae).

BAGAR® AIRLISS EXT by Beissier: the ready-to-use solution for concrete worksites
With this new ready-to-use answer, Beissier offers a roughing-out plaster specially for concrete in sprayable paste (airless), intended for exterior use on balcony undersides, for smoothing and leveling substrates, and for repairing precast slab joints.

With no time lost on preparation, this new BAGAR® product claims strong advantages, genuine guarantees of ease of application, competitiveness and optimal results. BAGAR® AIRLISS EXT: the new semi-lightweight roughing-out plaster in sprayable paste, perfectly suited to plastering concrete substrates.

A water-based roughing-out plaster for concrete, cement and concrete block substrates, BAGAR® AIRLISS EXT offers two types of application, manual or mechanized (Airless). The latter, appreciated by professionals, ensures in particular neat and precise work, combined with fast application and great application comfort...

Excellent adhesion, high water vapor permeability, good filling (up to 5 mm per coat), good slip and easy sanding: the performance of the new BAGAR® AIRLISS EXT by Beissier reflects the company's credo of quality at every level.

Resistant to water and humidity, BAGAR® AIRLISS EXT has a consumption, depending on the roughness of the substrates, of 1 to 3 kg/m2, for an application thickness of 5 mm. Another advantage: BAGAR® AIRLISS EXT, a gray plaster made in France, can be overcoated with many types of exterior paint: thin film, RPE, waterproofing coating...

Note that Beissier advises against applying BAGAR® AIRLISS EXT in full sun and recommends treating metal reinforcements beforehand with a suitable product; likewise, Beissier states that it is preferable to harden powdery or soft substrates before application. Finally, the BAGAR® AIRLISS EXT formulation allows easy and simple cleaning of tools (smoothing trowel and plastering blade) with water.
