Aurora launches Aone Bluetooth, connected lighting under control

Connected homes and lighting control solutions are booming. Yet these control systems for residential, hospitality or commercial buildings can prove costly and complex. To make these innovations more widely accessible, Aurora has developed the Aone concept, a complete lighting control system via Zigbee or Bluetooth.
The Aurora group has been investing for several years in the development of connected lighting solutions. Its new Aone offers, two concepts that can be controlled with Zigbee or Bluetooth protocols, make connected lighting accessible to as many people as possible.
With Aurora's Aone concepts, connected lighting creates and animates tailor-made atmospheres. All it takes is a simple box for Aone Zigbee, or even control without an Internet connection via the Aone Bluetooth system, for Aurora's 2 new solutions to remotely control around twenty of the manufacturer's products featuring Smart Inside technology, and more than 900 Enlite products thanks to the Inline dimmer. The latter is installed between the switch and the first lighting device.
The year 2019 marks a major turning point for the French lighting market, with the launch of Aurora's Aone Bluetooth ecosystem. Based on the most innovative technologies, this system was designed by Aurora to be as easy to use as it is to install. Via a smartphone or tablet and a dedicated app, Aurora's Aone Bluetooth enables wireless lighting control, with no gateway or router. A proven solution, the Bluetooth function, already popular with users, ensures easy and controlled management of light output.
Dining area, living room, dining room, bedroom, terrace... every living space in the home can benefit from optimal and/or scheduled lighting management depending on the desired light quality or atmosphere, the season or the outdoor brightness.
In the hospitality and catering sector, Aone Bluetooth will be used to orchestrate lighting according to the location or the desired parameters: outdoor light intensity, lounge or dining area, closing time... Each space will thus benefit from lighting that is adapted and preprogrammed according to the manager's wishes.
Aone Bluetooth consists of a dedicated app, a range of 17 dedicated Smart Inside products and a system to control 900 Enlite products. Switches, spotlights, infrared detector: each Smart Inside element has a Bluetooth connection module that communicates with the app according to the programmed atmospheres.
And, to benefit from the system on an existing installation, Aurora offers 2 controllers – Aone Control in 12/24 V or 120/320 V – which are placed between the switch and the first dimmable device. These solutions make it possible to manage the atmospheres of light sources already installed if they are dimmable, and to make the installation compatible with all the dimmable Enlite products offered by Aurora, an offer of more than 900 references.
No specialist training is required to install Aone Bluetooth. On a new installation, 3 simple steps are enough for intelligent lighting control via Bluetooth.
Step 1: download the Aone App for configuring, controlling and managing the lighting.
Step 2: install the Smart Inside lighting terminals for direct communication with the app.
Step 3: the Inline dimmer takes control of wall lights and infrared detectors.
From now on, each device can be controlled from a smartphone or tablet. With a single action, the On/Off function, light intensity variation and light color are controlled.
Different combinations of lighting groups are then possible to control lighting zones anywhere. Different scenarios can be saved to enjoy preselected lighting atmospheres available on any occasion. The app's simple configuration makes it possible to trigger lighting scenarios at any time of day, wherever the user is, without having to connect to or touch the controller.
In addition, to activate smart lighting in areas already fitted with non-connected devices, Aurora offers the ?Make it Smart with Aone Control? option, which enables remote control of a selection of Enlite products and most dimmable systems on the market.
The circuit is connected by simply installing an Inline Bluetooth dimmer 320 W between the switch and the first lighting device.
