Single-family homes and multi-unit housing: Alkern innovates with its new range of R1, Confort R1 and Kosmo R1 blocks, the perfect combination of insulation and load-bearing construction.

As the leading independent manufacturer of precast concrete products in France, Alkern never stops innovating in the service of comfort and performance. Confort R1 and Kosmo R1 blocks, the latest demonstrations of this leader's expertise, are designed in particular for the construction of low-energy single-family homes and multi-unit housing of up to R+3.

With thermal resistances of 1 m2.K/W, these load-bearing, insulating solutions combine performance (thermal, acoustic, mechanical, fire) to guarantee savings (from construction through to use) and optimal comfort in every season, summer and winter alike.

Alkern Kosmo R1 and Confort R1 blocks: a fast, insulating building system
By rolling out these innovative blocks with an insulating core and a mechanical strength of Fk = 4.9 Mpa / B60, Alkern is betting on performance for the construction of low-energy residential buildings of up to 3 storeys; these blocks also offer a fire resistance of REI = 45 min.

NF-certified, Confort R1 and Kosmo R1 blocks deliver comfort and savings. They are installed using glued bonding, and their respective dimensions (20 x 25 x 50 cm and 20 x 20 x 50 cm) make for easy layout planning as well as fast execution, which boosts competitiveness. In addition, the render classification allows finishing with OC 3 renders, again a source of fast installation, shorter construction times and lower costs. In addition to an A+ indoor air classification (EPD in the process of certification), these Kosmo R1 and Confort R1 blocks also contribute to acoustic comfort with very good sound reduction performance (for example, the Confort R1 achieves Rw+C = 55 dB /Rw+Ctr = 48 dB with EPS 100 mm lining and Rw+C = 65 dB/Rw+Ctr = 60 dB with 100 mm mineral wool lining.

Finally, these new Alkern Confort R1 and Kosmo R1 blocks are positioned as a complete system, as they are also supplied with accessories (column block, double column block, cut block, U block) and thermal bridge treatment solutions (Ruptherm or Isopanel).
