Beyond energy performance, Cheminées Poujoulat, the European leader in chimney flues and metal roof terminals, is also committed to offering solutions that blend seamlessly with the architecture of homes and the interior decoration of living spaces. Having already enabled its customers to personalize their chimney flue with colors (all RAL shades), finishes (matt or satin), colored connection collars and a designer draught regulator (RÉGUL'ART), the French manufacturer is going even further!
No fewer than 3 new products now enrich its catalog. 3 new products designed to personalize and enhance wood stoves even further: an original collection of ventilated casings and DÉCO wall finishing plates to dress up the fireside, and DÉCO'START, the designer connecting piece that perfects the finish between the heating appliance and the flue.
The story of this collection begins in 2019. For the first time, Cheminées Poujoulat invited its community into its product development process through a poll on Facebook. This initiative goes hand in hand with the manufacturer's desire to personalize its products ever more, while taking care to listen to its customers' expectations. To select 3 designs of ventilated casing and wall finishing plate, Cheminées Poujoulat therefore asked internet users to vote for and like their favorite models. And the collections that received the most votes are… POP'ART, INDUS AND BUCOLIQUE!
A combination of ventilated casing and wall finishing plates had never been offered before. Cheminées Poujoulat has now made it happen. All the elements of this collection can be combined or installed on their own. Anything goes! With ventilated casings and wall finishing plates, decoration is no longer reserved for new installations.
These new personalization pieces give a different dimension to all new and existing wood appliances as well as to the interior architecture of living spaces. Already offered in 9 colors (matt black, fire red, purple red, moss green, sapphire blue, earth brown, chocolate brown, slate gray and mouse gray), this patented casing is now available in 3 new designs:
- POP'ART for a vibrant decor with a woman's face straight out of a comic book
- INDUS with a copper color in the purest industrial style for a relaxed atmosphere
- BUCOLIQUE with a plant motif for nature lovers
In addition to black, the new wall finishing plates feature the same patterns as the ventilated casings. One or two plates, identical or mixed, offer several compositions!
Cheminées Poujoulat solutions adapt to all configurations and are installed without major work. The ventilated casing is positioned around the enameled connecting flue of log and pellet wood stoves. It consists of two painted sliding elements. The wall finishing plate is fixed directly behind the stove, using the supplied fixing strips, onto a non-combustible wall or over a heat protection plate that is already installed. Child's play, within everyone's reach!
In addition to the aesthetic benefit, the plain or DÉCO ventilated casing reduces the safety distance of the stove and flue from a wall made of combustible materials to 1 times the flue diameter (instead of 3 times), and also lowers the contact temperature of the flue by optimizing heat recovery. DÉCO wall finishing plates, for their part, prevent the wall from yellowing.
DÉCO'START brings a new decorative touch to the flue. Patented, this new piece aesthetically connects the appliance's flue outlet to the THERMINOX range of insulated flues. It ensures perfect continuity and an impeccable finish, in harmony with the interior decoration and every wish. Offered as standard in stainless steel, DÉCO'START can also be painted in RAL shades. And for total personalization, DÉCO'START matches perfectly with Cheminées Poujoulat's colored flues and painted collars.
DÉCO'START has the technical feature of being perforated around its entire circumference so as to release heat and maintain an impeccable finish over time, whether it is all stainless steel or painted.
Supplied with a connection ring, DÉCO'START adapts to all appliance configurations. It is compatible with flue outlets that are recessed, flush or protruding from the appliance casing.
