New STANLEY® FATMAX® 18V tools for construction professionals

Launched in 2012, the STANLEY® FATMAX® 18V platform has continued to grow. This year, the range expands with 5 new products, including an SDS+ rotary hammer, a random orbital sander and a wet and dry vacuum cleaner.
A true ally for tradespeople and DIY experts, it perfectly meets the needs of carpenters and joiners, as well as plasterers, electricians and plumbers.

From now on, users simply need to buy one product with battery(ies) and charger to begin with, then equip themselves with bare tools (without battery) according to their needs.

SDS+ rotary hammer, boosted performance
New in the 18V range, the SDS+ rotary hammer is the essential tool for tradespeople on finishing work such as plugging, drilling or breaking out tiles/ceramic or facing. With a power of 1.5 J EPTA and a impact rate of 5 775 per minute, it can work with ease on materials such as concrete or stone.

The switch, which instantly changes from simple drilling mode to hammer drilling or chiselling mode, makes it a versatile tool. It can drill holes from 2 to 30 mm in diameter, to run cables, piping or ventilation ducts...

In addition, changing the drill bit is quick and easy, and the side handle ensures a perfect grip on the tool. The brushless (carbon-free) motor preserves the service life and runtime of the machine and its battery, since the parts interact without friction and therefore require less energy. The ergonomic handle with soft grip coating offers a comfortable grip.

Sand more and faster with the random orbital sander
A powerful and comfortable random orbital sander completes the range and is aimed at all woodworkers. Its large pad allows the user to sand large surfaces quickly. The pad rotation of 12 000 revolutions per minute and the large oscillation amplitude of 2.5 mm further optimize its efficiency.

Whether for treating wood, or stripping paint or rust, the dust generated by sanding makes the task even more complex.

The dust collection system of the STANLEY® FATMAX® random orbital sander has been designed to extract as many particles as possible while prolonging the efficiency of the abrasive, notably thanks to the semi-rigid bag.

Air flows better through the fabric and considerably clears the work area. Fitted with a metal fan, the motor is better ventilated and protected from dust; the on/off switch is completely sealed. For maximum waste extraction, the sander connects to the vacuum cleaner in the 18V range.

Barely 137 mm high, this tool is ultra compact. Its soft grip coating makes it easier to hold and offers optimal comfort, whether working horizontally or vertically.

Wet and dry vacuum cleaner, versatile and practical
Designed for dust and liquids, this 2 1 vacuum cleaner is ideal for all job sites; it also picks up small debris and screws without risk of damaging the motor. Its large 7.5

L tank allows professionals to clean their work area throughout the day without having to constantly empty the vacuum cleaner. Conveniently, the tank opens simply from the top for quick access to the filter or the collected waste.

With an airflow of 45 dm3/s and its runtime, professionals can carry out the most common applications, from vacuuming cutting dust and drilling dust in wood, to water in bathrooms, to more occasional applications such as cleaning utility vehicles.

Its 2.4-metre hose provides extreme maneuverability to vacuum every nook and cranny. Another very practical feature is that all accessories store easily on the vacuum cleaner, keeping them within reach and preventing loss.
