By delivering water at a preset temperature and maintaining a constant flow rate, even in the event of a pressure drop, thermostatic mixers are essential elements of a successful shower experience. Comfort, safety and water savings depend on their reliability. Recognized for its technological expertise and quality sanitaryware, Porcher is expanding its range of thermostatic shower mixers for the residential market with two new models: Okyris and Kheops. With a contemporary look and excellent value for money, they are available, depending on the model, as shower combis and shower sets.
The Okyris and Kheops thermostatic mixers feature a slim body (diameter 41 mm) that blends perfectly with the two ergonomic chrome-plated metal handle designs, square (echoing the Diamand design of the Evo hand shower) or round, for a better grip. Thanks to their modern lines, the perfect integration of the diverter into the handle and the concealed S-shaped connectors, they offer a refined design that blends into any bathroom style.
Safety and durability
For precise control, the Okyris and Kheops thermostatic shower mixers have a temperature control handle with a stop preset at 40°C. Safe to use, they benefit from Cool Body technology, which prevents the risk of burns on contact with the body of the mixer, which stays lukewarm.
For outstanding strength and longevity, they are fitted with the FirmaFlow® cartridge, designed and manufactured by the Ideal Standard International group. With a metal head, a diameter of 38 mm and two premium-quality ceramic discs, it extends the life cycle of the tapware up to 500 000 cycles, or 10 to 15 years of daily use, almost twice the market industry standard.
To help save water, the Okyris and Kheops thermostatic mixers have a flow handle with an economy stop that can be disengaged at 50% of maximum flow.
