Mondial du Bâtiment 2019: meeting the challenges of today and tomorrow

From 4 to 8 November at Paris-Nord Villepinte, the Mondial du Bâtiment will bring together the INTERCLIMA, IDÉOBAIN and BATIMAT shows to form the leading international event for the architecture, building and construction sectors. Considered THE must-attend event for all players in the industry to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow, the Mondial du Bâtiment aims to be a 360° observatory of the sector's transformations.
Once again, the Mondial will present the world's largest range of solutions and innovations for the construction and renovation of all types of buildings. It will be a unique place to discover, in the best conditions, the offerings presented by the exhibitors.
To this end, the Mondial du Bâtiment will build on the foundations that made it a success in 2017, namely optimizing the synergies between 6 specific, interconnected trade universes, to which two new sectors are now added: Construction Tech® and Off-Site.
• In Halls 1 and 2, INTERCLIMA will represent all the HVAC, energy efficiency and comfort markets in residential buildings, both single-family and multi-family, as well as commercial and industrial buildings. It will be directly linked to IDÉOBAIN and to all the BATIMAT universes by the gallery.
• Located in Hall 3, the bathroom universe presented by IDÉOBAIN will be directly connected to BATIMAT's Interior Fittings sector. This link meets specifiers' expectations of being able to easily visit all the offerings relating to living spaces, including wet rooms.
• BATIMAT will extend over 4 halls. Hall 4 places the Interior and Exterior Fittings sector at the heart of the show. Hall 5A will bring together the Workshop Machinery and Joinery/Closures sectors. Hall 5B will host the Tools sector, Site Equipment and, for the 1ère time, utility vehicles, both with outdoor areas suited to demonstrations.
Straddling Halls 5A and 6, the new Construction Tech® sector will present solutions for the digitalization of building, and the largest gathering of start-ups dedicated to the industry. Hall 6 will bring together all the solutions dedicated to Building Structure and Envelope. It will also host all the professional bodies that drive the industry. And for the 1ère time in France, BATIMAT is creating a sector entirely dedicated to Off-Site, already a focal point of Hall 6.
A prime venue for decoding trends
At the same time, in tune with the sector's changes and backed by strong mobilization from unions and professional organizations, the Mondial du Bâtiment 2019 will also be the unique place to access valuable sources of information and analysis of the new challenges.

The juries met in early September in Paris to review the 140 applications received and select the winners of this 2019 edition of the Innovation Awards. Of the 60 nominated innovations, unveiled on 9 September, 21 were selected. The Innovation Awards juries are made up of representatives of institutions, certification bodies, project owners, project managers, companies, distributors and specialist media (see the list of jurors at the end of the document). After deliberation, the experts selected the best innovative solutions in all the major construction sectors: structure, envelope, site equipment, tools, digital solutions, joinery, closures, solar protection, smart home, interior fittings, exterior fittings, HVAC, pumps, bathrooms.
?Once again this year, the Innovation Awards reflect the dynamism and the capacity for renewal of the industry. The 2019 Innovation Awards ceremony for the winners will be held on Tuesday 5 November at 11h, on the BATIMAT Architecture Forum (Hall 5A). During the BATIMAT, IDÉOBAIN (4 to 8 November) and INTERCLIMA (5 to 8 November) shows, all Innovation Awards candidates will present their solution during the ?innovation pitch sessions? in their Innovation Area (1 per show). Interactive screens will also allow visitors to discover the candidate innovations and vote for their favorite.
