Chappée expands its TD SPLIT range of heat pump water heaters

Available in two capacities, 150 and 200 litres, the Td Split Mural tank meets the needs of a family of up to 5 people. Economical and eco-friendly, it produces quality hot water at low cost by drawing on the energy present in the outdoor air. Compact and easy to install, it fits neatly into a cupboard.

The Td Split Mural is ideally suited to new builds and to renovation projects, when replacing an electric water heater. It has a wide operating range of between - 15°C and + 42°C on outdoor air, ensuring independent domestic hot water comfort in every season.

Its connection via refrigerant lines to a unit installed outdoors allows domestic hot water to be heated up to 65°C. The heating time is less than 8 h, making it possible to favour off-peak hours and thus optimise the hot water budget. The integrated electric backup or the "hybrid" function for coupling with a wall-mounted boiler gives users peace of mind, even during peaks in consumption.

Absolute discretion and simplicity of use
It adapts to any layout thanks to its compact size, which makes it possible to install it in a standard-size cupboard (60 x 60 cm). It can also be installed in the space of a bathroom, a utility room, a cellar or a garage.

Its outdoor unit is perfectly quiet, with a sound level of 42 dB (A) at 2 metres. It can also be placed up to 20 metres away and with a height difference of 10 metres. Connection is easy thanks to its 1/4" – 3/8" refrigerant line, which allows small bending radii and limits air leaks (permeability).

Finally, the control panel, fitted with a large LCD screen, can be positioned close to or away from the heat pump water heater, with a wired connection of up to 20 metres. It allows the user to set different programmes with a choice of time slots according to their lifestyle.

Guaranteed robustness
The models in the range are NF Électricité Performance certified and consist of:

• an aluminium heat pump exchanger with no contact with the water
• an enamelled steel tank with a 5-year warranty
• a magnesium anode ensuring perfect hygiene and purity of the domestic water as well as very long-lasting anti-corrosion protection of the tank
• an anti-legionella function
• a 1600 W backup heating element

Constant energy savings
The Td Split Mural can deliver up to 70 % energy savings on domestic hot water production thanks to performance levels that achieve the best results in RT 2012 studies. They reach a coefficient of performance of up to 3,36 (150-litre tank) and 3 (200-litre tank) in heating mode for outdoor air at + 7 °C.

Eligible for the tax credit (30%*), these heat pump water heaters fully meet current energy requirements, using an inexhaustible, free and environmentally friendly energy source.
