Bosch unveils its new Flexiclick GSR 18V-60 FC drill/driver

More powerful than the previous model, the GSR 18V-60 FC Professional offers carpenters, kitchen fitters, cabinetmakers, stand builders and others optimal flexibility and increased comfort, even when working in hard-to-reach areas.
This 18 Volt cordless drill/driver has new features for safer use thanks to the KickBack Control function, greater versatility thanks to its new adapters, and more convenience. In addition, this Bosch tool can be connected via a Bluetooth module so that tradespeople can customize the settings.

A more powerful, safer tool...
At 140 mm long, the GSR 18V-60 FC Professional is 7 mm shorter than its predecessor. It features a more compact design regardless of the bit used and a sturdier chuck, and it can drive screws even closer to corners.

The drill/driver is equipped with a brushless motor and a precision clutch function, an electronic control that prevents the tool from spinning during screwdriving, which together provide a longer service life for the tool and accessories. For greater comfort and user safety, the GSR 18V-60 FC Professional is equipped with the KickBack Control function. If the integrated sensor detects a sudden obstacle during use, e.g. a jammed drill bit, the motor stops automatically, thereby reducing the risk of injury caused by kickback.

Thanks to the Bluetooth module, the GSR 18V-60 FC Professional can be connected to the tradesperson's smartphone so that they can customize the machine's settings according to their work: KickBack Control function, precision clutch...

Flexiclick: optimized versatility
Practical, the new Flexiclick 18 Volt system covers a variety of applications: from screwdriving to drilling in wood, metal and even concrete. In addition to the existing adapters - the GFA 18-B Professional drill attachment with plastic chuck for working with delicate materials, and the GFA 18-WB Professional angle attachment for round shank chucks, Bosch is offering new ones.

The new GFA 18-W Professional angle adapter, which is swiveling, shorter and fitted with a HEX fixing, ensures precise screwdriving close to edges and in corners. Sturdier, the new 100 % metal GFA 18-M Professional Professional drill chuck accepts a drill bit up to 13 mm. The GFA 18-H Professional hammer drill attachment with SDS-plus shank turns the cordless drill/driver into a powerful rotary hammer with an impact energy of one joule.

Simple to use, the Flexiclick system makes it possible to lock the bits in 16 different positions (every 360°), without having to remove them from the driver.
