Sunday, November 4, 2018Description :

Concrete is not just a trend because of its intrinsic industrial character but also because of the sense of spaciousness and luminosity that it transmits where it is included, since the absence of joints offers a sense of continuity in the atmospheres.

Furthermore, it acquires an infinite number of formats and finishes, ranging from uniform cements to microcements and textured concrete. Different aesthetic possibilities that together with other industrial elements such as beams, bricks and visible pipes, create unique spaces that are full of character.

One of cement’s most outstanding peculiarities is the reinterpretation of this material with the passing of time, as well as its inalterable durability and easy maintenance. It is a material with great strength that allows for the passage of time to be seen, thus making its surface come alive.

Urbatek, from the PORCELANOSA Grupo highlights its two XLight porcelain tiles in cement finish models among its wide range of products. Wall tiles whose strength allows them to be placed in any type of projects, whether it is housing or contract premises.

The XLight porcelain tile with fine thickness and large format in a cement finish is available in two versions: Concrete and Code. Both with a 3.5mm thickness and a wide surface of 100cmx300cm that allows for the feeling of infinite space provided by cement to be enhanced even further.

Concrete is consolidated as the most in demand porcelain tile both for interior wall tiles and facades. This is due to its easy adaptability to building systems, the agility in its handling and transport.

This collection is available in three shades; XLight Concrete Grey, perfect for recreating industrial style spaces; XLight Concrete Beige, to counteract the ruggedness of the material with a warm and cosy colour; and XLight Concrete Black, ideal for creating atmospheres full of strength and exclusivity.

Code, however, represents the coloured microcement collection. This model comes in three different versions: Code Gray, which refers to the microcement origin; Code White and Code Beige, with shades that transmit luminosity to the space requirements; and Code Coal, the darkest microcement in the collection with a colouring that simulates coal.
