Bobcat TL30.70 Telescopic Handler for the Construction Sector

Bobcat launches its new TL30.70 telescopic handler
With a lift capacity of 3 tonnes and a lift height of nearly 7 metres, the new Bobcat TL30.70 compact telescopic handler meets the needs of a wide variety of applications in the construction and rental sectors.

The TL30.70 offers an excellent compact and economical alternative to telescopic handlers of 7 m, which are larger in size. It is particularly efficient in confined work spaces and when high maneuverability is required. And yet it makes no compromise on performance: the TL30.70 offers an impressive reach of 4 metres with a load of more than 1 tonne! At its maximum lift height, the TL30.70 can lift nearly 2 tonnes, which is more than enough to place a pallet of bricks at height in most conditions. Its compact format and excellent stability make the TL30.70 an ideal machine for quick and easy handling and for lifting materials on residential or commercial construction sites.

Like the existing Bobcat TL26.60 and TL30.60 telescopic handler models, the TL30.70 is available in two different overall heights thanks to two cab options. A low cab for a very low overall height of 2,10 m, or a high cab for optimal visibility. As standard, both cabs are suspended for increased driving comfort.

Hydrostatic transmission
Like all Bobcat telescopic handlers, the TL30.70 is equipped with a robust hydrostatic transmission that provides smooth, precise travel at low speed as well as fast acceleration and high power that is immediately available. Bobcat's automatic speed range selection continuously adapts engine torque and travel speed to the demands of the task at hand. The operator does not need to worry about selecting the speed range; he can keep his hand on the joystick and concentrate on his work. Finally, this transmission offers a slow approach function that delivers maximum precision at very low speed without having to use the brakes, which increases safety and reduces operator fatigue.

Bobcat designs all its telescopic handlers with the same type of fully welded box-section chassis for greater rigidity. A skid plate under the chassis protects vital components, while a set of specific features maximizes reliability and reduces operating costs, even in the toughest conditions. These include high-strength steel construction, welded U-shaped profiles, an integrated boom head, as well as new-generation wear pads, large-diameter bolts and large steel inserts to minimize friction.

As enjoyable to drive as ever

The TL30.70 offers many features that provide unparalleled driving comfort:

An ergonomic multifunction joystick as standard equipment that allows all boom movements and the machine's direction of travel to be controlled with one hand.

An automatic parking brake, exclusive on the market, for increased safety and ease of use.

End-of-stroke cushioning of boom movements that automatically reduces the speed of movements (telescope retraction, lifting at maximum angle, lowering at minimum angle) before they reach the mechanical stop, for safer, faster and better-controlled work.

An automatic reversing fan, allowing the rotation reversal cycles to be programmed, for cleaning the radiator and air intake grille at regular intervals. A simple way to preserve the efficiency of the cooling system.

A high-comfort air-suspension seat with low-frequency vertical and longitudinal suspension. It has numerous adjustments so that all operators can find the most comfortable driving position.

Bobcat D34 diesel engine
The new TL30.70 is part of a range of 12 Bobcat telescopic handlers designed for the construction and rental sectors, offering lift capacities from 2,6 to 4,1 tonnes and lift heights from 6 to 18 metres. All models in the range are covered by a 3-year / 3000-hour warranty.

The D34 75 kW (100 CV) engine delivers high power for heavy-duty applications. Its exhaust aftertreatment system uses a selective catalytic reducer with AdBlue injection to achieve compliance with Stage IV emission standards.
The D34 55 kW (75 CV) Stage IIIB engine combines performance and economy. It uses neither selective catalytic reduction nor AdBlue, offers easier access to engine components and delivers up to 15% fuel savings in typical construction work cycles and other application sectors.
