In 1925, Domenico Colombo, the great-uncle of the current owners of Galbusera, founded a small craft workshop for the transformation of wrought iron in Malgrate next to Lake Como, in northern Italy
In 1961, Giancarlo Galbusera, with the help of his brother Giacinto and under the able leadership of his uncle, turned the small workshop into a cottage business and because of the growing market demand shifted production to Valmadrera, where he relies always.
After taking part in the first international trade fairs Galbusera brand becomes famous and due to the growth of production continious new site in Civate is open.
After Giancarlo died in 2004, control of the company was handed over to his sons Giorgio and Domenico and his daughter Donatella who continue to produce indoor and garden artistic hardware items used in wrought iron and wrought iron.
