The Carrefour International du Bois is organized every two years at the Parc des Expositions de la Beaujoire (Nantes - France). It brings together more than 500 exhibitors (30% international) and 10,000 visitors, all professionals and from 60 countries. Organized by wood professionals (Atlanbois and the Grand Port Maritime Nantes Saint Nazaire), this unique event in Europe wins the support of the participants.
The limited size of stands (no more than 36 m2) and the specialization of the exhibitors on the wood material (sawnwood, panels, parquet, cladding, packaging, wood elements for the construction ......) make it a living room appreciated by all.The distribution in the different halls is not sectoral. It is made according to the habits and the wishes of each one, to the extent of the availabilities.
Exception made for the space Techniques & Solutions Wood the space prescription and wood construction of Carrefour: it gathers the exhibitors who propose techniques & solutions for construction professionals; the conference room; the Prescription-Information space managed by Atlanbois and bringing together the professional information organizations of the forest-wood-construction sector. Another peculiarity of the Carrefour is the presence of collective stands in the colors of different French regions.
